"Please have a seat, Miss Jin." Carolline Ruiz snapped back to reality and beckoned Phoebe Miller, "What would you like to drink? Is flower tea okay?"
"Just plain water, please. I don't like any other beverages besides water right now." Phoebe Miller sat down, smiling gently.
"Alright." Carolline Ruiz went to pour plain water. She didn't know why she was nervous, but her hand trembled, and the water splashed out of the not-yet-full cup.
Having finally managed to bring the water over, Carolline Ruiz placed it in front of Phoebe Miller. Faced with such a woman, Carolline Ruiz — too ordinary in comparison — would find it difficult not to be nervous.
"Thank you, Carolline Ruiz. May I call you Carolline?" Phoebe Miller's soft voice resounded, like a heavenly melody.
