Carolline thought for a moment and sprinkled the crushed broccoli onto the freshly baked steamed pork ribs, skipping a side dish of stir-fried broccoli.
The two of them had enough to eat with three dishes and one soup.
Bryan Cooper was actually quite embarrassed. Seeing Carolline's expression, he knew she had made a mistake, but he admired her quick thinking. Otherwise, a perfectly good broccoli would have gone to waste, which he actually quite liked.
Bryan was especially proactive in helping to serve the dishes, dished up two bowls of rice, and poured two small bowls of soup, nutritious and satisfying.
Bryan took out his phone to take pictures of the three beautifully presented dishes and one soup, snapping multiple photos. Carolline shook her head as she watched him, taking a sip of chicken soup. "What's there to photograph about ordinary home-cooked meals? You run a hotel and must have tasted all kinds of gourmet food, right?"
