"Head nurse, are you alright?" Lottie Mitchell saw Carolline Ruiz standing there in a daze and asked, "Do you know this patient?"
"I've seen him twice, but we're not close." Carolline shook her head and then turned to leave.
As soon as the door opened, Carolline saw Andy Aguirre and knew he was on the night shift tonight.
"You were called in too; your uncle just left," Andy said to Carolline.
"Hmm, I know." Carolline figured if she had been called in, her father naturally would have been called too. "Let's go to your office; I have something to ask you."
"Alright." The two went to Andy's office and Carolline began, "Why is Dean Hawkins so concerned about these two patients?"
"You never used to care about such things?" Andy curiously looked at Carolline, who in the past wouldn't have paid attention to these issues, let alone gossip about leaders or colleagues.
