The three of them returned home, and Axel excitedly packed all the things he had bought into his backpack, especially the two bags of delicate marshmallows. After double-checking that he had packed everything, he obediently went to the bathroom to take a bath and get ready for bed.
Carolline also went to take a bath first. After she finished, she consciously walked towards Axel's room. Since Axel was back, she naturally planned to sleep with him.
Bryan Hawkins leaned against the head of the bed, watching his wife walk into their son's room, and sighing in his heart. It seemed that he would be sleeping alone again tonight.
As Carolline pushed open Axel's room door, the little guy had already very consciously climbed into bed. She smiled in satisfaction. But before her smile could fade, Axel sat up in bed and said, "Mom, I can sleep by myself at night now."
