Carolline admitted her mistake willingly.
After dinner, Carolline wanted to help with the dishes, but Emily Hill chased her away. Before leaving, Carolline and her son Axel exchanged knowing glances. Axel nodded and then climbed into the back seat of his father's car.
Ever since his father had lectured him about not sitting in the passenger seat, Axel had never sat there again. Bryan Hawkins even purchased a child safety seat with the best safety rating from abroad, specially for Axel to sit in the back.
Carolline left their house and went straight to the passenger seat. Bryan Hawkins reminded Axel to fasten his seat belt, and then they drove away.
