"Really? Mom agreed?" Bryan Hawkins was somewhat astonished, as he was worried that Carolline Ruiz would still want to drive him out.
"Mhm." Axel crisply replied.
Bryan was overjoyed, almost flying to the Heavens, being allowed to stay was great.
When the whole family is together, time always flies quickly. The Ruiz family had a regular schedule, and Axel went to bed at eight o'clock. Bryan lay in bed telling Axel stories.
It was unknown if it was because Bryan's voice was so magnetic or the stories were so captivating, but Axel quickly fell asleep.
Bryan carefully covered Axel with the blanket, then quietly left Axel's room. Henry Ruiz and Emily Hill had returned to their rooms, so Bryan headed towards Carolline's room. He held the doorknob gently and turned it, but the door was locked.
