Carolline shook her head secretly, thinking that her foolish son and Bryan Hawkins had totally different ideas on Western food; Bryan was treating them to G City's finest Western restaurant, where the bill would likely reach at least ten thousand.
As a nurse with a monthly income of three or four thousand, she would never dare to indulge in such lavish spending. It was different for Bryan, currently the wealthiest man in G City. Be it tens of thousands or even millions, Bryan would be more than happy to pay as long as Axel was happy.
Thus, Carolline no longer worried about the cost.
As they walked side by side, Bryan Hawkins thought Carolline spoke too little. While he and his son communicated quite happily, it seemed that Carolline was too lazy to even say a word with him.
