Looking at the clothes, toys, and books in various pockets, Axel stared with bright eyes, "Dad, are all these for me?"

He mainly didn't know what to buy, so he bought a bunch based on the store owner's recommendations. He didn't know whether Axel would like them or not.
"..." Carolline thought, is this just a little? The front was already like this, she couldn't imagine what the trunk would look like when opened. Was he trying to make up for the five years of missing fatherly love in one go?
On top of that, he even bought some tear-resistant cloth books. Did he think Axel was under three years old? Axel never tore books when he was little; he was always well-behaved.
