As Bernard left, the only expression left on Avery's face was happiness, pure happiness.
She went into the doctor's resting room with Carolline Ruiz, sipped the fruit juice Carolline had drunk, and asked, "Did you come with Gavin Campbell? Where is he?"
"No, I came with Andy Aguirre." Carolline shook her head. She originally wanted to start with Avery, but since Bernard wasn't a doctor from their hospital, she didn't mind offending him outright, not fearing the potential consequences later on.
"Andy Aguirre?" Avery hadn't met Andy but had heard of him. He was the precious son of their hospital's anesthesiologist, Dr. Aguirre.
