In the afternoon, with the company of Carolline Ruiz and her friends, Avery Graham's time passed by quickly so by the evening, the couple had merely greeted their friends briefly without much further social obligations.
After dinner, the two of them stood at the door to see off the guests.
Carolline Ruiz and the others also came out from inside to congratulate them.
There were fireworks in the evening but Carolline Ruiz's group didn't stay to watch; not even Bernard Taylor stayed. After most of the guests had left, only those who were staying to watch the fireworks and some relatives who would stay overnight were left.
Avery Graham got into the car, still feeling a bit uneasy, "Should we really be leaving just like this? Is it okay?"
"What's not okay about it? Aren't you tired yet?" Bernard Taylor didn't mind since his parents were there, he felt reassured about everything.
"Alright." Avery nodded, her parents had also come over to urge them to go back and rest early.
