Avery Graham also fastened her seatbelt, "Let's have Chinese food. Just order a few dishes and soup, keep it simple; I still want to go back for an afternoon nap."
She had gotten up quite early today and was feeling a bit sleepy.
"Mm-hmm." Bernard nodded, for today, there really was nothing much else to arrange.
The two drove around and found a Chinese restaurant, choosing a place that was relatively upscale—at least the hygiene and the dishes passed muster.
They parked their car, and just as they got out, they saw Mona Cervantes.
Mona Cervantes was also on a day off today. Bored at home, she went out with a few friends for a meal and unexpectedly ran into Bernard Taylor and Avery Graham at the restaurant.
So they really were together.
