Wanda suddenly burst into laughter, tears streaming down her face. She looked at Stanhope Brown with a gaze as if her heart had died. She asked, "So... you like Grace Gordon, right? If she was the one standing here today... you would definitely accept her, wouldn't you?"
Stanhope did not answer, but Wanda already knew the answer.
"Why?" Wanda looked at Stanhope. "Just because...you slept with her once? Stanhope...you can't be thinking of taking responsibility for Grace just because of that! She's already been married once!"
"She's divorced now," Stanhope said.
Wanda's heart shattered: "What makes her better than me? I've been by your side for so many years... and I can't compare to a single Grace Gordon?"
"Falling in love isn't about who's been together longer or who's better than who," he said.
