Chapter 1 - How they meet

"He has slit eyes!"

"He is Chinese."

"Your skin is so white. How can a boy have white skin?"

Erza is already so upset about being mocked. Is it wrong if his eye is slightly slit and has white skin? According to his friends, he thought it was cool, but it was not at all.

"Hey, you Chinese boy, lend me some money to buy a lottery card." Erza looked up to stare at a boy who usually took his money to buy some lottery cards with toys and money for the prizes.

"I don't have money." Erza intends to act firm and walks away, but that meaty boy won't let him go. He covered the way that wants Erza through it with his big body.

For sake, his body covered the way so Erza couldn't get through it quickly.

"Liar, I don't see you were using your money, so you still have it!" he accused Erza.

"I don't have money!" not deliberate, Erza snapped at that boy because he was upset. He was saving his money to buy a new toy that he wanted, but that meaty boy had robbed him of cash since yesterday.

But his snap didn't make that boy scared at all. He got angry, with his chubby cheeks turned red. Reflect Erza gulped because he felt something terrible would come. Slowly, he looked up again and found that boy's face scarier than before. Erza was afraid and surprised, he stepped back but fell and bumped his butt on the cold floor.

Erza closed his eyes tightly because he feared the boy would want to hit him while pulling his collar. "How dare you? Just lend me some money. Is it hard for you? You are also rich!" that boy accused wrath.

Bugh!

Erza wants to cry because he feels hurt in his cheeks. He was hit on his cheeks but fortunately didn't see that happen so that he could hold back. His tiny body and slightly skinny thrown, and his butt feels hurt because he bumped the floor.

"Owh!" He sighed with his eyes still closed tightly.

Erza gave up when that boy started rummaging in every pocket of his school uniform and finally took all his money today. "How stingy you. Just lend me some money is not that hard." that boy showed the money he got from rummaging Erza's pants pocket.

Erza wants to cry. Today should be the day he can buy the toys he wants because the money is already enough, but because the cash got robbed by that boy, what he plans to do today is failing.

"I'll go. If I get candies, I'll give them to you." And that boy walks over to Erza, who keeps in his position, sitting on the floor.

Erza dares himself to open his eyes because he thinks it's safe right now, but when he turns, he sees that boy still there. Panicky, Erza turned back and closed his eyes again, waiting for that boy to get going.

"What are you looking at, you filthy skin? Move!" that boy said furiously because another boy was covering his way.

"Don't steal money from a little kid," another boy said. The boy who covered the way seemed to want to be a hero.

"What are you saying?" that meaty boy inclined his face to the boy who was taller than him.

"Give back his money." that tall boy commanded.

"You playing as a hero, huh, you filthy skin?!"

Bugh!

But that tall boy precisely got punched and sat on the floor and bumped his butt too. "Don't you dare to against me!" He got threatened by that meaty boy after being defeated.

That meaty boy has gone with bringing Erza's money, and now the victim's beating increased. Erza looks toward and stares at such a brave tall boy, who stares at Erza, too. Not long after that, they laugh together because what happened is funny. That tall boy stood up first and then helped Erza to stand up.

"Are you okay?" that tall boy asked.

Erza shook his head to answer that boy's question while smiling. Erza has never seen this tallboy before in his school, or has he just seen him? who knows? He doesn't care too.

"Wh-what grade are you?" Erza asking.

"I'm fourth grade, just moved here hehe," that tall boy answered while rubbing his back hair.

Eh? Erza blinked his eyes after hearing it. That tall boy is the same age as him? He is in fourth grade too. "I'm fourth grade, too!" he exclaims.

"We're the same age? but you're so tiny, and you look more like first grade hahaha." That tall boy kind of mocked Erza and made him pout his lips.

"I'm Ardy Januarto from Bandung." that tall boy introduces himself. His name is Ardy.

"I am also from Bandung! My name is Erza." Erza replied happily because he had met a new friend from the same hometown as him.

"Yes! We are friends right now, let's be best friends because you should have a friend like me so that you aren't getting bullied again!" that boy named Ardy exclaims and is pretty confident even though he got punched and not at all helped Erza.

.

Ardy just moved two days ago to a residential compound where Erza lives, and Ardy just started school today and accidentally met a cute boy being bullied, Erza. Around one o'clock pm, they headed home and said they wanted to play together after school because their house was just a few blocks. When Ardy got home, his mother was not there and just left a paper note on the fridge, saying if she went to the neighbour's house. Ardy hasn't had lunch yet, and of course, he is hungry, but he is also excited to play with Erza.

Well, he doesn't care about his rumbled stomach. Ardy took some money from the table his mother left and took his kite and bicycle from the garage. Riding a bike in daylight while bringing a kite? No wonder Ardy's skin is tan. Throughway residential, putting the kite on his back like a bag, looking for a house with a brown fence like wood and a blue windmill made from paper should not be that hard to find.

Ardy found that only one house had a blue windmill. Without any further, he immediately pushed the fence and parked his bicycle in the house yard. "Eza, Eza let's play!" Ardy yelled. Indeed that house is the house where Erza is living.

The door opened, and there was a woman at the door, staring at Ardy, who wondered. "Are you looking for someone, little boy?" that woman asked.

"I'm looking for Eza; this is his house, isn't it?" Ardy answered and made sure it.

"Ya, this is. Are you a friend of his?" that woman asks again, and Ardy nods and then gives a sweet smile to her.

"He's taking a nap. You can play with him next time, okay?" She said and then smiled in hospitality.

Ardy looks disappointed, and he can't play for the first time with that cute boy named Erza. But from behind that woman appeared a cute little boy who was forced to go out through under the skirt of the mother. "Ardy!" that cute little boy calls him after succeeding in peeking under her mother's dress.

That woman was surprised when she saw her son in her skirt. Yeah, that woman is Erza's mother. "Why are you in there, sweetheart?" his mother asked.

"Hehehe..." Erza laughed cutely. "I want to play, ma." then he answered.

"No, you are not allowed to play outside. The weather is so hot you will get sick. Better take a nap." The mother said.

Erza's mother isn't funny! Ardy exclaims in his mind after hearing that from Erza's mother.

"What is that on your cheeks? Is it a bruise? Why? If your papa knows it, you will be in a bad situation!" his mother sounds threatening. Her face turns into an angry face, and she's put her hands on her hips while staring at Erza, who is still under her skirt.

"Ng... I'm not fighting, ma. I was told you I'm not." Erza explained while a deep bow and playing with his fingers.

"Who teaches you to be a liar?" his mother interrogates him.

Why can it be like this? Ardy feels guilty about seeing Erza get scolded by his mother, but he also can't do anything because he is scared of Erza's mother. "Is something happened? Why are you so noisy in here?" someone behind Erza's mother asked.

Ardy opened his eyes widely when he saw his mother appear from Erza's mother behind. Not to wait any longer, Ardy calls his mother. "Mom!"

"Eh? Ardy, why are you here?" his mother asked.

"And then what is that on your cheeks? Are you fighting?" she forwarded with a suspicious face that she showed while staring at her son.

Erza and Ardy's mother stared at each other, then stared at their sons' faces alternate and then back staring at each other again, and now with their shocked faces there, something came to their mind about bruises on their sons.

"Are you two fight?!" they asked to coincide while staring at their sons with eyes opened widely.

Wh-why were they being accused fought? Ardy panicked. He shakes his head to deny that accusation because he is afraid his mother will report to his father, and he ends up with his bicycle and PlayStation his father confiscates. "No, we're not. I just helped Erza, and he was bullied!" Ardy explained, panicky.

Erza nods to help Ardy to make their mothers believe it, "I was bullied, but I'm not against that boy. Ardy is also not against that boy." He added.

"We are getting punched, but we are not punching him back!" And they explain simultaneously.

Erza wants to cry, but he is afraid that his mother does not believe him, while Ardy doesn't want to cry, but he panics with the dam of tears in his sharp and big eyes like an eagle eye. They both want to cry because they fear their mothers will report it to their father.

"Okay, okay, let's get in, Mama won't say it to papa, and Ardy, let's get in too and play with Erza in the house." Erza's mother decided, and smiling tried to calm those boys. She didn't want to hear weeping in the daylight. It won't be enjoyable at noon.

Ardy turns his head and stares at his mother to make sure that his mother says such a thing as Erza's mother to calm him down. But she's not saying anything besides mocking the expression that he made to say sorry.

"You're ugly, don't show me that jebleh*."
