Blaine gulped down nothingness when he heard her bark so angrily. He knew he wasn't supposed to call her, she acted just like he predicted-she'll be nervous, angry, and anxious about the whereabouts of Annalise. It's only natural, since none of them want to lose anyone again to the hands of kidnappers.
Then again, Blaine couldn't think of anything logical to do again. He can't possibly contact Monica, she'll get panicking. Same thing with Paige.
Definitely, Kayla's a busy person, disturbing her during working hours won't be advisable. But after listening to Sarah's angry yell while portraying the mean frown playing on her lips in her head, he regretted dialing her number.
"Sarah, I'm… it's somewhat confusing. I thought she didn't come to work today since I couldn't find a single belonging of hers in the office".
