"From what I understand is that you will Christian train with Lord Latrell before we activate the next plan of making him seem like he was kidnapped?" The black-haired beauty states.
"Why do all of these plans involve me?" I argue.
"Because they expect you most of all Christian," Saniya explains.
"This isn't much of a meeting, Mai my love." Dominique answers, "Maybe we should go drink?"
"Not today, I just came to make sure Christian was okay," Mai reveals.
"Why would I not be okay?" I questioned.
"Because when you are done with the training you won't be." She snickered.
"Why are you so quiet Saniya?" Dominique added.
She was leaning far back into her seat texting, ignoring us all, Chara rose from her chair angrily folding it neatly hauling it behind her slamming it against the wall.
"Master Christian isn't going anywhere!" Chara shouts, "You never planned to tell me?"
"Why do I care what a maid thinks?" Saniya responds.
"You can't go to Chara, you will only hinder his progress," Mai notes.
"Mai? Dominique? Do not remember what happened to Gavyn?" Chara yelled.
"He died being a hero because a kid…big deal." Dominique spouts.
I stood up in my seat giving Dominique a long fixed stare bewildered by what he said. Could I have caused his death, I recall how he kept looking at his watch?
"Dominique?" I ask.
"Hmm?" He answers.
"What happened to Gavyn?" I request.
"Why do you want to know so much? Are you guilty?" Dominique responds.
The sounds of the string of bells go off distracting me from asking anything further, Saniya jumps up from her seat to find Theo with another man in tow.
He was a built man, his orange hair and unusual bangs framed his face like that of a lion. He wore an all-white pressed suit, he carried a brown leather satchel to his side.
"Uncle Latrell, Christian has been awaiting you with his mistress." Theo states.
The first thing he sets his eyes on is Chara taking large steps to take her by the hand, swinging him around her arms. Chara felt unsure what to do but took the next steps guiding him.
"Will you marry me?" Lord Latrell questions Chara.
She purposely stomps on his perfectly waxed leather shoes, standing back from the newcomer.
"I would much rather it be my master before some beast of a man!" Chara replies.
Lord Latrell takes off his now scuffed shoe tending to his aching foot pushing the shoewear back on quickly. I knew this is the man that Saniya is sending me with soon.
"If you are taking my master Lord Latrell then I am going with him!" She disputes.
Saniya comes forward trying to drag Chara away from Lord Latrell, but he grabs her hands with a dreamy look in his eyes.
"Uncle Latrell, please not another one!" Theo yells.
"I didn't expect to find another beautiful one in your sights, Saniya!" He spouted almost in tears.
"Uncle please don't you have enough maids as it is?" Theo responded.
"If you allow me to usher you into my grande home I will make you more than a maid my darling!" He announced.
"Uncle, please! You should be paying attention to your temporary stay student!" Theo begged.
"We will talk later, okay Luv?" Lord Latrell said to Chara.
Turning to me he circles around me making a strange humming noise, I was confused by his actions. I could feel the pain in my other eye throb.
"W-what is going on…" I asked.
I go blind for a moment, unable to see anything, Lord Latrell catches me as I fall to my knees.
"So he is a user…interesting." Lord Latrell whispered to himself.
I could feel the low noise thrum through my body causing me to tremble, shivers could be felt down my spine dropping to the ground holding tight to the pain rising in my eye.
Darkness rose around me, one I felt before chained to the bar in the bedroom, I could sense its existence looming over me, towering in superiority.
On the ground I was paralyzed in its presence attempting to prop myself up, clutching for anything. I reach for Latrell's pant leg who stares back down at me with intrigue.
He stops letting me collapse against the coolness of the tiles of the floor, I could tell the thing retracted. Chara came over to my side, lifting my head up letting me sit on her knees.
With my eyes closed, I was catching my breath, opening them again I could see Chara gawking up at the man with anger on her pouting lips.
"I was making sure he was truly an''Igor', nothing more than that my Darling." He responded.
"I will serve temporarily if you allow me with my master!" Chara shouts.
"I was going to bring you anyway, you don't have to force yourself on me." He stated.
Chara helped me get up from the ground using her shoulder for support. This man looked like a hefty lion and seemed to have a fetish for maids.
Getting a bad feeling just looking at this man alone made me worry about the fact Saniya was leaving me with him. He was merely in a good mood, but he had secrets.
"How does it feel to be an 'Igor' without his master?" He asked.
"I owe no one…" I put it simply.
"That's right you don't owe the Everett's, but I will be able to give you more than that." He explained.
"Then I put my trust in you," I replied.
Under the impression, I am now a traitor when all is said and done It seems I will never get to go back…
"Good boy, what is your name?" He questioned me.
"I am Christian-" I answer for him to interrupt me.
"You no longer have the last name Christian. You are a vampire now." Latrell said, intercepting my words.
"I no longer have a last name?" I inquired to know.
"No, you must distance yourself from humanity now." He said.
"But…I-I…" I stutter.
"No more Christian, your old life is done." Latrell scolded me.
"I really no longer have a home do I?"
"Christian, there is no home for you with humans." Latrell replied, "Come we must go."
Together with Chara, we trail behind Lord Latrell, no one in the room says anything as we exit silently with an unusual man to the street.
"Theo, have you called the cabby?" Lord Latrell asked.
"Of course, they will be here soon." Theo points out.
"Runt, psst Runt!" Dominique said, peeking from the corner.
"Dominique?" I answer.
"Make sure to come back in a one-piece runt," Dominique says.
"One…piece?"
"Come Christian, the cabby has come!" Lord Latrell shouts.
"Yes, Lord Latrell!" I yelled back.
