"Shimon, is he really dying?" Lucas asked.
Fiddling with his instruments, he placed down the book he was studying. He only gave a smirk at first and then patted him on the shoulder to get immersed in his work again.
"He might be…"
"Why would you justify doing this to someone?" Lucas asked.
"Because he deserves it…I knew him before when he was a humble servant."
"He is a butler or something?" Lucas questioned.
"He is…you should stop messing around with him," Shimon warned.
He snapped the book shut making a loud noise, it almost shocked Lucas. Clarence had been treating Christian the last couple of days, He strolled back to the room where he found Clarence out like a light again.
Most of the days are dedicated to keeping Christian comfortable, he is losing himself at work instead of mourning for his beloved father. He knew it was better to stay distracted than to fully give into the pain.
