Ana's POV
I am still shocked that everyone is okay with skating. Even better, they have reopened the locked ice-skating arena in the basement.
"Hey, we are leaving soon," Alex strolled in slowly.
"You, okay?" he asks as he sits next to me on the bed.
"I am not sure. This feels surreal. I am scared that this will all disappear when I wake up," I tell him honestly.
"Well, even if it's a dream, then remember, you can always come to me. And I will make all your dreams come true. But not your wedding dream, because you are too young, and I do not want you to get hurt by love" Alex shuddered after saying the last part.
"Thank you, Alex, that means a lot to me." I hugged him tightly, surprising the hell out of both of us.
We slowly walked down to the living room, where rest of the brothers were seating around waiting for me.
"Finally, the princess has graced us with her presence, can we go now?" Alessio grumbled. I wonder why he sounds like this, I thought we are getting along better now.
Seems like this is his personality.
We took two different cars. In one car, Vincent, Luke, Ethan and me. In another car, James, Alex and Alessio followed us with James driving the car.
I was supposed to be in the second car, but the older ones did not trust the younger one, especially Alessio. Therefore, decided to bring along with them.
"We can let our baby play the songs" Luke passed me the cable. Connecting my phone, I played some melodic songs.
"Woah, you have amazing taste," Ethan wowed. I saw Vincent smiling.
"Anyways, Ana knows about Ethan and me during her hospital stay. So now, Vincent share about yourself to our sister" Luke poked Vincent on his shoulder.
"You know the usual details. You should know that I used to accompany dad to the ice skating rink whenever he was stressed out. That is the main reason why dad built a rink in the house. As the business got bigger, his enemies grew," Vincent spoke. Looking at the reaction of the other two brothers in the car, I can confirm that this is the first time they are hearing about this.
"Wait, Vin are you saying that our baby inherited the talents from our dad?" Luke asked with wide eyes. Vince nodded.
"Damn dad, why didn't he pass me some talents" Ethan pouted like a kid, making me giggle.
"I made her giggle," Ethan pumped his fist up.
"Maybe that is the talent you got" I smiled at him, making his smile wider.
"Now I know why you are my favourite sister" he laughs,
"But she is your only sister, Ethan" Vince spoke monotone.
Soon we reached a location. We got down, and it was an amusement park. I was shocked. It has been a long time since I came here. Last time the fun was cut short due to some reasons.
"Welcome to one of our family businesses," Luke proudly presented in with his arms wide open.
"It looks amazing Vincent!" I jumped happily. See this, the whole family laughed as Luke pouted.
"I cannot take credits for this little sister. Luke put his heart into this project" Vincent smiled while patting my head.
"Thank you, brother, this is the first time you are praising me in front of our brothers" Luke started to blush.
"I think I should do it more often," Vince teased his brother, pulling Luke into a side hug.
"Can we go one the Ferris wheels?" I asked as I saw the ride with amazement.
"But you only can go on it with one brother" Alex spoke,
"Then I will ride it with every one of you" I beamed,
"Sure" Alessio shrugged as everyone nodded to agree with me plan.
First, I went with Vincent.
"Ana, I want to apologise for not being there when you needed me. I am sorry for allowing Alessio to make a decision on behalf of us. I want to promise to you that you can always ask me anything and I will answer you," he held my hands in his tightly. A few tears pooled in his eyes.
"Vincent, I trust that you will keep the promise. But Vincent, my past is complicated. There are somethings I cannot tell you now. But someday in the future I will share it with you and our brothers. When the truth comes out, I want you to trust me with your full heart. That I had no choice at that time," I tell him honestly. He pulled me into a tight hug whispering that he will trust me.
Next, I went on it with Luke,
"Ana, I am happy that you are back with us. You have brought our family back; you have united us again. It is all thanks to you. Yet I am sorry, that we caused you so much pain. I promised to not hurt you again. Babe, I promise to always cook and bake with you. Just give me a chance to love you and pamper you. Just know that I am always here for you" he kissed my forehead.
I hugged him tightly. Not going to lie, since the start, I have always felt comfortable and safe with him. I have decided that he will be my cuddle buddy.
"Ana, I know that Luke always snatches my time with you. But I am always here for you. I know our brothers might come off cold hearted and distance. It was all due to the losses they faced in their lives. Now that you are back, we have started to change slowly for the better. So please do not give up on us Ana. Let us be a family, we may not be perfect," Ethan shed a few tears making me to cry as well.
"I love you too Ethan. Thank you for always being there for me. And for always putting chocolates on my bed every day to cheer me up" I smiled, he was shocked that I knew about it.
He kissed my forehead like Luke did. I smiled hugging him as well.
"Hi, I know I rarely spoke to you since you came back. I am sorry. I did not know how to speak or to approach you. I was scared that you will push me away. I was really jealous of your friends. They were able to make you smile effortlessly. Yet it was hard for me to talk to you. Then when I found out you gave up your dreams to make us happy while you were dying. I did not know whether to feel happy or guilty. Happy that my sister wanted to make us happy. But guilty that my past was hurting you so much. Ana, I promise to spend more time with you. And I promise that no one even our brothers will hurt you. The next time one of us hurt you. I am leaving the house with you. I will take care of you all by myself" James promised with fire in his eyes.
"James, thank you. It means a lot. But we are learning together as we go along. Everyone deserves a few chances before we give up on something." I smile at him with tears in my eyes. These boys are making me cry nonstop today.
Somehow Alessio and Alex got in together. They said we will go two rounds.
"Erm, I am sorry for hurting you so much the past six months. I was trying to keep our brothers from getting hurt again. What I did was wrong. I should not have made the decision together. I should have discussed it with everyone. Ana, I hope you will give me a chance to show what kind of brother I can be" he solemnly spoke.
I nodded; I am still weary of him but I can definitely give him a chance.
"What my twin said was true. But compare to everyone. I want to thank you for coming back. Even though you had to be hurt to come back here. I am here to promise you that I will help you to ran away in case you feel like you are too suffocated in this home. I want to be there to always make you happy and make your dreams come true" he winked earning a smack from his twin. I laughed.
We all went to eat at a restaurant that was also owned by our brothers. It was full of jokes and chatter.
"Hey, why is that guy staring at our sister?" Alessio got our brothers attention and pointed out the window.
I followed his gaze. Unknowingly I started to smile. I got up and ran out leaving my brothers confused.
I jumped into his arms as he hugged me tightly.
"When you come here?" I asked as I pulled out of the hug.
"I just reached. The brothers told me that you are out with your brothers. I was in the opposite restaurant with a few friends when I saw you and I came over" he pointed to the other side of the road. Where our close friends were waving at us. I waved back.
"How are you? Is everything okay, your eyes are swollen, did you cry?" he caressed my cheeks softly.
"Who are you and stop being so close to my sister" Alessio sneered and pulled me to his side ignoring my protest.
"Damien?" Vincent asked after taking a proper look at him.
"Hello Vincent. It has been a long time" Damien shook hands with my oldest brother.
"Dame?" I asked confused.
"We are friends." He winked and I understood right away that my brothers were not as innocent I thought they were.
"I will see you around Ana. I will be out of town for a few weeks. I have somethings to do. When I am back, lets catch up. Take care" he waved after discreetly signalling something to me. I nodded.
