In the days that followed, Kim Su Won focused on the kid getting better and her business ventures with the people in her nearby community – but majorly on the kid.
The kid, who was now eating and drinking properly, had finally gained some weight. His scrawny little body had much improved, his bruises were healing. His dead wisteria colored eyes were now filled with light and hope. They looked so beautiful, it was a very unique color.
His hair, now fully came into their shape, turning into curls that were now manageable. His dry bronze skin was finally starting to get its shine back too. He was still not letting people touch him much but he was talking with Kim Su Won and Anna.
To both Anna and Kim Su Won, but especially Anna, he was a bundle of joy. They named him Mer – short for Merry since Merry would be a girl's name. Kim Su Won had still maintained her distance from him lest she again bonded with the kid and lost him.
