Alex knew that the duke or duchess had not come here. Only the heir, Joseph Edevane had come with a bunch of his servants. There were other vassals including a few counts and viscounts from the duchy but Kim Su Won had no idea about them. Alex also only knew the information he had from his sources, he had not met anyone in person.
Now, while receiving the party, Alex would need to behave as a lower person since he was lower in hierarchy but at least Emma was at par in status. They both were figuring out the details when they saw that Isaac was already standing at the gate.
No wonder, they did not need to rush. Some other servant might have informed the Earl and he must have arrived right away.
