Abel Edevane had come like a tornado to the Krislabet capital and left just like that. While one of the nuisances was gone from Joe's life, for now, he needed to figure out what to do with this communication stone. If he kept it in his pocket, he would need to answer whenever his father called. He did not want that.
"Butler, I would like to keep this with you," he tossed the stone towards the butler, who struggled a bit to catch it but ultimately did. He took a deep breath for he was enraged that young master would treat something so precious like this. The butler knew about the stone from his studies about the Edevane family and he knew how hard they were to come by.
"B-But young master…," he wanted to protest. He had a desperate expression. What if the duke called him and the young master was not at home? How would he reply to the grand master then?
