Deep down, Isaac was enjoying the fact that he was the one to open the pandora's box for Joe Edevane. It could be an advantage in the future – for turning Joe against his family if it turned into a feud due to the truth coming out. Isaac smiled internally, even feeling proud of himself.
Joe, on the other hand, did not know what to feel. Was he surprised? Yes! He had thought that Edevane family had independently developed the powers and were equivalent to Morades Clan. He was proud of his lineage and thought he had unlimited potential when it came to magic.
However, now he was not so sure. The difference between Morades clan and Edevanes was how the descendants happened in both the families. Morades Clan made sure to keep their bloodline pure. Only the male and female with magic were allowed to marry and produce even powerful children. The kids that were born without magic were placed with families like that of Charla Spinster and Elizabeth Villin.
