Talori couldn't stop the tears. Why couldn't she? What was wrong with her? Why was she even crying in the first place? She had nothing to be sad about.
At least that was what she tried to tell herself. But for some bizarre reason, finding out that Brennan had a girlfriend was incredibly distressing. The only experience she had with seeing people date was with Harmony and Castian and, to a lesser extent, some of Brennan's water fairy friends. It was enough to know that people dated when they loved each other and wanted to spend all of their time together.
He had found someone he cared about more than her. That was why she was upset.
It was stupid! Why should she care about that? She had other friends down here now; he was allowed to go make his own.
