*****

Hello everybody, and welcome to my book, Endzone: Simulated Apocalypse. This is a novel in the Survival Game genre, and has elements of system/litRPG within it. Now, I'm not going to sit around here trying to sell the book to you since you should just go read it for yourself, but I will explain a few things that I feel are helpful to know.

1. The beginning is like Squid Game.

If you were a fan of the Netflix series like I was, then you should see similarities between the start of this novel and the beginning of Squid Game. However, I assure you, past Chapter 5, my book completely diverges. Whereas Squid Game was realistic and set on Earth, Endzone is in the post-apocalyptic world of another reality. The two are completely different, and I assure you won't regret picking this book up.

Why am I so confident, you ask? Just give the novel a try yourself. ;)

2. Auxiliary chapters contain minor spoilers.

Apart from this one, most of the other auxiliary chapters will contain minor spoilers, but not for the plot. For example, Character Illustrations may give hints as to what powers they will obtain in the future. There will also be a list of characters, a glossary, the Almanac (from Cyanide's perspective), and et cetera. Naturally, all of these will be updated as the story progresses.

As such, read them at your own risk, and quick note that non-Privilege users will be behind in terms of the story by quite a bit, but there is nothing to be done about that. Therefore, once again, read them at your own risk (I only recommend referring to them when you forget something and don't want to go back to search for it).

3. Short stories (SS).

Yes. Short stories. At the beginning of every volume, I like to write a couple of short stories based on the major characters of the story. These will outline their pasts before coming to Endzone, and maybe day-to-day events inside Endzone that weren't covered in the main story.

The purpose of these is, naturally, to develop the characters and provide a little more insight into them for you guys, the readers. I want to make my characters feel as 3D and alive as possible, so hopefully they will be of interest to you. It's nice to take a break from the main plot every now and then, y'know?

P.S. The first short story, which details Cyanide's upbringing and past, can be found at the beginning of Volume 2.

5. I'm always opened to feedback.

Leave comments/reviews to tell me where I can improve, and I always do my best to like/reply to each and every comment I receive (check my profile for proof lol).

6. Bonus chapter info + gifting!

For every 200 Golden Tickets or every 500 power stones this book gets, I will release a bonus chapter at the end of the week. If we're able to make into Top 50 power stone ranking, I'll also do a mass release. ;)

In addition, if you gift the story with a Magic Castle, you'll be able to add any skill to the story. I can't promise Cyanide will pick it up, but some characters definitely will.

If you gift the story with a Spaceship, you'll get your own custom character incorporated into the book!

7. You didn't realize I skipped number 4!

8. You just checked, and now you feel like an idiot for doing exactly as I say.

9. You also didn't realize I wrote 2. twice but no 3.

10. You just checked and realized I lied.

And lastly, most importantly of all, I hope you all enjoy this book, and if you do, kindly donate your power stones and gifts to show support!

P.S. Join the discord to come chat with me! (Check chapter comments for the link.)

That's all for now.

Until next time,
