"Wow, Rendra and Nathan are fighting in the cafeteria!"
The shout suddenly managed to make all the students run towards the cafeteria. The reason is, this rarely happens. Nathan, and Rendra, are the kings and commanders of Airlangga High School. So, how could they get into a fight, let alone a fight? How can a king and his commander fight? Shouldn't they be a solid team even though they rarely seem to get along?
"Din, Nathan fought with Rendra?" asked Nadya. But Dinda is just silent. She didn't understand this kind of thing at her new school. After all, Nathan was fighting, and Rendra had nothing to do with her. If Dinda prefers to be silent rather than a pretentiously meaningful student, isn't it true, it makes Gisel and the others hate her even more? "Din, in his life, Nathan has never played with his hands. He has never fought. Especially with Rendra," added Nadya. She hoped that Dinda would understand one thing, but what Nadya caught was that Dinda didn't react. She looked very calm and didn't seem to care at all.
"Then?" asked Dinda confused. What does Nathan have to do with now fighting with her? Why did her best friend look so worried and say that Nathan had never fought with her in the past?
"Aren't you worried? Nathan is your friend," said Nadya, who was starting to get annoyed with Dinda. Because this is the first time she has found an insensitive girl like Dinda, who seems indifferent and doesn't care. No wonder Nathan was confused about this friend.
"They're all grown up, Nad. Why should I interfere? After all, that's their business. It's not my business. I don't want to be called meddling in other people's business, Nad. Besides, I'm here to be a good student for school purposes. -okay, then pass well. I don't want to deal with things like that, and if they want to make a fuss, it's up to them. They also bear the risk themselves, right?" said Dinda at length. Because it's true, she doesn't want to be involved with the pillars anymore. She wants to go to school in peace and security. And until he graduated later, he also wanted to graduate safely. Not snagged by anyone, and not dragged into anything in this school. I am, moreover, carried by one of the three pillars. No, Dinda doesn't want to at all!
"Are you sure? Are you sure you don't think about Nathan?" asked Nadya. Dinda was still silent. "Okay, okay...." she continued.
Dinda was confused, and she didn't know what to do now. It was true that Nathan was a perfect friend. But regarding this fight, did she deserve to interfere? It's a boy-to-boy affair and none of his business. Besides, why did Nadya say that? After all, didn't Nadya have anything to do with Nathan or Rendra?
"Din, are you still here?" said Sasa, who managed to make Dinda turn. "Get over there, or one of them will die because of you!" shouted Sasa, who seemed to be getting emotional. "They're fighting because of you, Dinda! And you're having fun here! Hurry over there!"
"What do you mean, Sa? I don't understand what you're talking about?" asked Dinda, who still looked confused. Sasa chuckled. She immediately pulled Dinda's body to stand up, and then she glared at Dinda with a panicked face.
"Hurry up and get them, or you will become a suspect because you caused them to fight! Hurry up!" snapped Sasa again.
Dinda immediately ran after Sasa's steps, even though she didn't understand what Sasa was saying. How could they die because of it?
Dinda tried to be part of the students who circled the two boys still fighting. They seemed relentless in their blows and curses. This is totally out of control. And worst of all, none of the students reported this incident to the picket teacher. What they did, cheered and became the stove for this fight. It seems that seeing a Nathan Alvaro fight is extraordinary for them.
"C, can I ask you a favor?" said Dinda. Sasa looked at Dinda, but she still stayed where she was. As if she was reluctant, but she didn't seem to reject Dinda's words. "Please call the picket teacher. Let someone break it," he continued. Sasa immediately ran to the teacher's room. Then, Dinda, with all her might get into the crowd and was in the front row. She was trying to find a gap between the two boys to break up the fight. Even though Dinda herself feels doubtful and horrified, can she separate them? Or even he was hit by the two boys.
"What the hell, Nath! Beat me like a trance for no reason! Fuck you, dog!" snapped Rendra. However, Nathan remained silent. He was throwing a punch the umpteenth time for Rendra.
Rendra did not remain silent, and he returned Nathan's punch so that the pale-skinned boy fell and was beaten blindly by Rendra.
"Stop!!! Stop!!! What are you guys doing!" shouted Dinda. She tried to pull the collar of Rendra's uniform, but in a frenzy, Rendra threw a punch at Dinda's temple until Dinda fell. Nathan and Rendra immediately froze, seeing Dinda lying on the floor because of their actions. There was a feeling of guilt that enveloped them, especially Rendra. How could he hit Dinda? How could he make such a fatal mistake?
Dinda didn't move for a moment because her eyes felt dark, making everyone panic, and who could hear Nathan's screams.
"Don't touch her, bastard!" shouted Nathan. Go to Dinda, and carry Dinda looking weak. "You're all right, right?" asked Nathan.
"I ... my head ... dizzy," said Dinda stammered. Once Dinda was hit by a basketball, it felt like she was fainting, especially the bogey from Rendra.
"Nath, just so you know... Dinda has officially become Rendra's girlfriend," Gisel's words managed to surprise Dinda.
"Shut up! If you don't, I'll sew up your dirty bastard!" Nathan snapped. You are bringing Dinda out of the crowd.
After some distance, Nathan released Dinda when he found out that Dinda was fine.
"Nath, you—"
"Sorry, I'm busy," Nathan said, with a cold intonation, pushing Dinda's hand away.
With bruises on his face, with a limp, Nathan went away, and it managed to make Dinda's chest suddenly feel tight. What is this? Yesterday, wasn't everything still fine? She was friends with Nathan, then why did her friends turn out like this? Dinda could only stand there, watching Nathan's body disappear behind the infirmary door.
