"So, is this the new student?" A curly haired girl asked Dinda.
Dinda guessed that her name was Giselle. That beautiful girl stared at Dinda from top to bottom while smiling viciously.
"Quite the beauty, but it's nothing compared to us. Hahaha!" All of her friends laughed. As if mocking Dinda was the best joke they have heard all day.
But Dinda did not bat an eye. She would rather focus on her book than being involved with those fame-crazed girls.
"I suggest that you steer clear of them if you wish to live peacefully here." A girl beside Dinda whispered.
Dinda turned her head but did not reply. Even without that warning, she was really inclined to do anything with those spoiled brats.
"Good morning, students!"
A female teacher entered the classroom. She was around 40 years old, she stood in front of the class while observing each and every one of her students. She smiled a little with a composed expression. Dinda saw her as a wise teacher.
"Students, we have a new transfer student here. Adinda, please come forward to introduce yourself." said the teacher.
Before she stood up, she saw the boy who had troubled her twice. He was walking past the teacher without any thought whatsoever. He glanced at Dinda a few times while showing an evil smile. He took a seat beside Dinda's. She immediately knew who he was judging by the place he seated himself on. He was the one that she was supposed to steer clear from according to her friend.
Dinda stood up, and started introducing herself to her classmates "Good morning, my name is Adinda Ratih. I am transferred from Wijaya Kusuma High School. Thank you."
"Dinda, you are pretty gorgeous. You got a boyfriend?" a boy blurted.
"Hey, why are you transferring mid-year? You've got to be a troublemaker at your previous school!" another boy followed suit.
"Be my girl, Dinda. I want you!"
"Cease talking!" the teacher interrupted. "Thank you for introducing yourself to us, Adinda. Hope you'll like it here. My name is Ningsih. Find me should you need anything."
"Yes, ma'am. Thank you."
Dinda took a seat again, but suddenly there was a red card on her table. Same as the one she found on her locker earlier.
Dinda looked at her friend next to her, but she seemed to mind her own business. Then Dinda looked to the other side. She saw the brown-eyed boy was smiling but did not look at her.
You are mine.
PS. Nathan
That was all the message she could find on the card. She tore it into pieces and disposed of it under her desk.
