When I returned to my overpriced apartment, I remembered what that man had said, so I checked my email and saw a message that said "transmigration application." I clicked on it to see a link, which I clicked on while covering my eyes to avoid seeing any gore.

I start walking out the alleyway and notice people wandering around. I stroll aimlessly till I reach a train station, but as I do, the entrance explodes and a monster emerges.

Guess It's my turn to help, and I instinctively use my explosion hearing a cracking noise . However, as I get into position, a boy zips past me, and I use my explosions to drive myself towards the monster.

I use my blasts to hit his face and kick him in the face, stunning him. The boy seizes the opportunity and hits the monster in the chest with his leg, but the creature becomes enraged and emits a deafening scream.
A group of people arrives, a girl begins to pray, and a guy rushes towards the monster, destroying the core and killing it.

They simply give me the location and continue about their business, leaving me speechless.
I get back to my apartment I think about what happened as I smile doing something different in life is really refreshing
I get ready for the day and walk to the address the man gave me. When I there, I encounter Shinra, who appears to be perplexed.
Denki:yo shinra
Shinra returns my gaze.
Shinra:Oh, Denki, it's you!
A blond-haired man introduces himself.
Takehisa: Greetings, recruits Takehisa is my name. I'm going to be your Lieutenant.
Shinra: Sir, my name is Shinra Kusakabe.
Denki: Sir, my name is Denki!
We enter the office and see the same man as before.
Obi:Oh, we didn't have a proper meeting. My name is Akitaru Obi, and I'm an expert in the subject of spontaneous human combustion. It's the fear that grips the entire planet, knowing that it could happen to anyone at any time. The first generation of prokinetics were the first victims of human combustion.

(So this is how you put them to rest, right?) I thought to myself as Shinra smiles strangely to himself, but the alarm goes off.
Obi:That indicates an infernal has been identified, and we must act quickly.
Obi tosses blue-lined coats.
Obi: Put these on.
We go in the car called "Matchbox" after we put them on and stop at a factory that has been set on fire.
Married:Please put my wife to rest She's in the factory!
Denki:Don't worry, I'll make sure she will be rested
When we enter the factory, we are greeted by a wall of flames. As Shinra drifted off,Obi yelled
Obi: We're a team, and every second we waste causes more havoc!
Shinra returns to Earth with a serious expression on his face Maki, a young woman, used her power to clear the way for us to pass.
Maki:Get out of here, guys! I can't take it any longer!
While this is going on, the infernal reroutes the fire and hits Shinra, knocking him back, and I use my explosives to get to him and catch him. Shinra looks out of it, so I set him down and use my other power, electric fire aura, to create an orange aura with fire sparks.
Denki: Sister, use the prayer!
Iris, the sister, responds.
Iris:ok!
I rush at the infernal, using my explosions to propel me there. When the infernal throws a fireball at me, I use a condensed explosion downwards, which propels me into the air. I then use a behind explosion to propel me towards the infernal.
I scan the area for Obi, who is lurking behind me. I close the distance and use a massive direct explosion, but that's not all. I barge the infernal with exposure and punches, knocking her all over the place. Obi arrives with a fire axe, but the infernal would push Obi out of the path as Shinra speeds past and hits the infernal in the chest, destroying the core and putting the infernal to rest.

We meet with the man after the firefighters had put out the fire.
Husband: Thank you, I'm relieved to know that my wife will be free.
Obi and Shinra have a private talk after which we return to the corporate building, where Obi provides me a room.
When I get into the office the next day, Obi says
Obi:You haven't taken your pictures yet, have you?
I put on my coat and take a picture of myself.
Obi:perfect
A knock is heard as he shows me the picture, yes I really seem quite handsome.
Obi:Oh,the new recruit is here .
I see a A young blonde boy wielding a blade arrives at the Special Fire Cathedral 8, where he proclaims it will be his new castle. Inside, Captain Obi tells Shinra about the Rookie Fire Games and how he,Denki and another new recruit will represent company 8 in the competition.
Arthur:Arthur Boyle is at your service
Arthur:this is going to be my new castle
Shinra approaches the door while Arthur is bowing.
Shinra: Oh, who is it—not the airhead!
For some reason, He was irritated by Arthur.
Denki:Woah, buddy, take it easy on the gas.
Shinra is being held back.
Arthur:Oh, it appears to be you, devil.
We end up on the roof with Takehisa and Maki after the whole ordeal of Arthur and Shinra about to duel.
takehisa:This is merely a test to determine how well you can handle it.
Shinra, Arthur, and I take our positions.
Not wishing to blast the ceiling apart with explosions, I activate my electric fire aura. I charge at Maki at breakneck speed, avoiding her grips and punching her in the stomach, shocking her. I try to knee her in the face, but she catches my knee and sweep kicks me. Arthur attempts to utilize his plasma sword but fails miserably, being hurled at Shinra. I rise up and hit her in the face, which she obviously avoids, but this is exactly what I wanted, so I lifted her up and slammed her. As she turned over, I tried to kick her.
Author here Sorry for breaking the immersion, but I'm going to refer to electric fire aura as "efa" for now on.
Shinra immediately rises maintaining the pressure on Maki Shinra tries to kick her, but his flames go out and he falls face first on the ground. She tries to get out of my hold, but efa stops her. It is ineffective.
This continues for a while. Maki fights hard but eventually gives up, allowing us to win.
takehisa:good On the first try, it was messy but passable.
We finally decide to go to the firing range.
Shinra:captain Obi can I try out the firefighting axe
Obi:oh sure here
Shinra is given the axe.
Arthur:Excalibur is the only weapon I need
Denki: I had no idea there was a firing range here.
I go up to a dummy and wreak havoc with my explosives.
We hurry to the car and put on our uniforms as the fire alarm goes off, and we go to a house that has been set on fire.
Obi:take the Shinra but hide it from the civilians
Shinra: All right, captain Obi.
Outside, I see a 16-year-old girl crying.
What are you doing here, Denki?
Girl:Please help, my father has turned into an infernal a few months after my mother did.
In between words, She sobbed.
Denki:don't worry my teammates will take care of it and your father will be put to rest
Shinra,Obi and Arthur come rushing in the door

I enter the house with Arthur and Obi , and although I hate Arthur , we find an infernal seated at the kitchen table, waiting for us to bury him.
Arthur:I'll put him to rest
As Arthur destroys the core with his plasma sword When the home catches fire again, everyone rushes out the door.
Obi saw Denki seated with a lady in the alleyway after we escaped the fire.

As Obi speaks, I see Obi, Shinra, and Arthur approaching us.
Obi:Your father was a true hero who sacrificed everything to keep others safe, and he will be remembered as such.

We return to the base, and I collapse into bed, exhausted.
