I went around the capital aimlessly thinking of how to approach the current situation.
"Where is he even going? he is just wandering aimlessly..." The the so called stalker wondered. "Did he notice I am following him?"
Suddenly the stalker saw how the person that they were supposed to follow has disappeared.
"HUH? where is he? I lost him again... argh he is really good at running away.." the redhead stalker said to herself again.
"He really is too fast isn't he?"
"Yeah he is indeed.." The pretty stalker replied."Wait, huh? who said that?
She turned around to look behind her but saw nothing.
"I swear I heard someone talk to me just now.." she said again
"Oh yes, you really did" and disappeared instantly after.
"Who is there?!" The girl panicked.
"It's lil old me" Kiran replied standing behind her.
She turned to the voice, but this time, the source of the voice did not disappear anywhere.
"YOU?.. HOW?... WHAT?" The girl named Kiara panicked a little and stepped a few steps back and stopped when her back was touching the wall behind her.
I came near her and put my hand on the wall near her left ear. "Surprised? surprised that your stalking skills aren't as good as you thought? It seems as if I am the first person you ever stalked."
"Yes... No? I DON'T KNOW!" Kiara said flustered by the situation she was in.
"Who are you and why did you follow me?" I asked her, actually Interested in her answer.
"I- I- " Kiara didn't know what to reply.
"Hm?" I lifted my brows.
She looked at my face as if she was trying to figure out something.
"Have we met before?" Kiara suddenly asked
After a slight pause, I started to laugh surprised by what she just said.
"I never thought a girl would ever use a pick up line such as that, hahaha, forget other men, HAHAH, you actually used it on me, hahah, an insecure loner who doesn't like to appear in public places, not to mention me… not even liking to have any sort of communication exchanges with others HAHAHA" After I blurted all of that at her I understood how much of a 'Pick me boy' I must have looked like right now.
A pick me girl or boy is when someone degrades him/herself and hopes for someone to say that they aren't as bad as they said they are.
Well, here, I wasn't hoping on anything, I just said how I truly think of myself. But it still must have looked as if I am a 'pick me boy'.
Kiara blushed while tilting her head down but still keeping eye contact with me.
"This wasn't a pick up line, It was a real question... umm well it's complicated to explain.." she then pouted.
"Hah even if you are a stalker, I still like you, you are really cute"
Kiaras face now crimson red:
"Wh- wha- what do you mean you like me...?"
"I meant I like your cute personality, scratch the stalking part of you" I said while not understanding what I just said, but meaning an entirely different thing.
"I AM NOT A STALKER!!" She almost cried
"Sure sure, if you say so .. but now in full seriousness, what do you want from me? Did my father send you?" I asked curiously
"Your father? No it was mine… he said I should go look after you one way or another, but didn't say who you are exactly..." she blurted out forgetting she did not intend to tell him anything before she knows her identity.
"Your father? and who is that, and how does he even know of me?" I asked not understanding how could someone even know of him, his parents never revealed to anyone that they now have a child. Even the maids and servants are under contract to never reveal this, until I myself or my parents do.
"You tell me first.." She Insisted.
"What are you? a child? I asked you first" I answered back also acting like a child unironicaly.
"Um can you at least step back a bit, its making me uncomfortable..." she then said while looking down.
Then I realised I was leaning into her the whole time and now stepped back a little
"So? I am waiting" I crossed my arms awaiting for an answer
She then puffed her chest while putting her hand there and said proudly:
"Let me properly introduce myself. My full name is Kiara Kendra Laxoca, daughter of the Great Emperor Laxoca."
"..so you are a bastard child or something? never thought the old man would be that kind of guy...." I said thoughtfully.
"huh?" She stared at me with her shiny green eyes now going blank because of confusion.
"hm?" I stared back at her.
"What did you just call me?" she asked
I sensed bloodlust from her..
"Wait wait, let me explain" I waved my hands in front of me. " That old man only has two sons, no? so you must be a at least adopted or something.."
Her Bloodlust increased with every word I voiced out.
"I mean..." I worriedly said
She tried to calm down and sighed.
"I might understand you not knowing my father having a third child... but you calling the Great Emperor an old man... don't you think you are overstepping your boundaries" she then practically whispered her blood red hair covering her eyes but still leaking with bloodthirst.
I shrugged.
"But he is an old man though... And him always causing a commotion when visiting our mansion.."
"Mansion?" she asked
"Yeah The Great Generals mansion" I replied
"So you are.." she started.
"..The son of the Great General Adam Kraftfull and the son of the named Empires number one genius Mona Kraftfull. Kiran Kraftfull" I ended her sentence.
"OHH I REMEMBER NOW YOU ARE THAT KID MY FATHER BROUGHT ME TO 12 YEARS AGO" She opened her eyes wide open after learning the truth.
"You have seen me before? sorry I can't seem to remember .." I told her still trying to remember.
Well I remember that old dude coming with a few family members.. but I don't remember exactly who..
"So your father told you to follow me?"
"Not exactly... he told me to look after you so you wouldn't get into some kind of trouble and to get to know you.. AND IT WASN'T JUST MY FATHER, he said he talked about it with your father"
"Huh? my father? But he was the one who recommended to hide my identity... the hell was that then.." I was at lose of words
(He seems not to understand what our parents were planning.. hmm I guess he isn't so bad, and he saved me back there... so I think I can stick with him for a while to observe him a little) the princess thought to herself. (OH SPEAKING OF WHICH)
"Thank you for saving me from the wolf, the nurses said you carried me to the medical hall, so I want to properly show you my gratefulness" she then bowed before me.
"Uhhh, NO NEED, it was you who rushed in to help me back there, so it's only natural I return the favour when your life was in danger"
Kiara smiled while not realising she was blushing yet again.
"So how did you escape from the wolf?" she then asked while looking back at me.
