That night, Vanessa could barely sleep. She kept on turning and turning and turning. And not for the reason you'd be expecting. She wasn't worried because of Mark. In fact, she wasn't even bothered by his presence one bit. The only thing that disturbed her through the night was the fact that she was still on the phone with Nathan when she went to open the door.
She was sure he'd ended the call. Was he probably mad that her ex was around, what if he was really upset with her, and refuses to talk to her., what would happen then??
She was worried about what he'd be feeling, yet she couldn't bring herself to place a call to him. She was scared of what he'd say. She was scared of how he'd sound if he was actually angry.
