Eowyn couldn't remember anything, not even himself. What was his name? What is his story? Did he have a girlfriend? Did he do good things or did he do bad things? Maybe both, but now he was just a wandering corpse with no memories left.
He reached his hand towards one of the zombies but they walked past him. He felt like he was crying, but he wasn't. All of his emotions were all pent up into his body. This didn't feel nice, he wished he was dead; maybe this was like being dead, maybe this is death, no… this was worse than death.
He slowly limped towards the stairs, he saw Oliver limping up the stairs. He recognized him, but from where? How did he know him?
Eowyn limped down the stairs, he walked past the zombies; some of them bumped into him. He looked around the stairs; his vision still wasn't great. But it was improving. He made it through the crowded stairwell and made it to the lobby.
"Mommy." A small voice spoke, a voice? How? Eowyn glanced and saw a little girl, limping while holding a stuffed animal. She was just like him, but how can she speak? This was his chance to try and communicate to someone.
He limped to the little girl and tried resting a hand on her shoulder but he was too slow, the little girl limped away and kept repeating 'mommy' and it made him feel sorry for the kid.
He turned his head and saw the exit, maybe this was the way out? He limped towards the exit, he looked into the sky and it began to pour. The rain felt nice, really nice. "THIS WAY!" A man yelled, he had a gas mask on. "A person who can speak" he thought and limped towards them, the other zombies sniffed the air and began to go feral; they ran in random directions in an act to try and find the man, a woman and a child ran into a building, the man got in last.
Eowyn sniffed the air and he began to drool, what was this sensation? He lifted his head up and screeched, full on sprinting towards the building, "NO! NO! STOP!" Eowyn screamed in his mind, he jumped and hit the glass panel. He tried to gain control and his vision turned red, he felt hungry.
The little girl screamed out of fear, the woman and the man aimed their guns at Eowyn, Eowyn lifted his hand up and bit into his hand, trying to control himself as a group of zombies sprinted straight towards the building they were in. He couldn't eat them, he didn't have the guts. A bird hit the window and this was his chance to control his urges.
Eowyn dived towards the bird and grabbed it, biting into it. It tasted good, blood splattered on the cracked pavement he was kneeling on; he finished eating the bird and sprinted towards the other zombies. "What the hell is going on?" The woman spoke, the man just stared at Eowyn. "I don't know… but this is interesting." He spoke as he held the little girl close; they were all wearing gas masks.
Eowyn opened his mouth and screeched at the zombies, but that didn't stop them; blood dribbled down his mouth as he grabbed a zombie by the head and slammed them against the pavement, killing it instantly. He raised his fists at the other zombies, his newfound strength. He felt stronger now that he ate that bird. His heart raced, or it felt like it. He felt alive.
He picked up a metal rebar that was left in a pile of debris, he clenched it and swung at the incoming zombies. Killing them one by one, he felt like he needed to protect them; they seemed different from the other people outside, they wanted to attack them. And he wasn't going to let that happen.
The guy clenched his shotgun. "I'm helping him." He spoke. "Randall, don't." The woman warned. "I'll be okay, Carol." Randall ran towards the door and opened it, Carol sighed. She knew she couldn't leave Randall alone. She grabbed her pistol and grabbed the little girl by the hand. "Let's go help the zombie, Lizzie." Carol smiled, Lizzie shook her head. "Scary."
"I know, but we gotta see if he is different… from the others." Carol ran outside and shot a zombie, Randall aimed his shotgun and shot a few zombies, Eowyn looked at the group of people, they were helping him? Why?
His vision wasn't red anymore, but it wasn't the same as it was before biting that bird. His vision significantly improved. He swung the metal rebar across the zombies head, they were a threat to them. "Come on zombie! Let's go." Randall screamed, Eowyn turned to him, zombie?
Eowyn limped over, he didn't feel interested in their blood as much as he did. "You understand us?" Randall looked at him and he nodded slowly. "Come, we don't have time." He ran off into the forest with Carol and Lizzie following. Eowyn followed slowly, did he just make friends?
They made it to a campsite that had fences with electric volts used to shock intruders. "Careful." Randall smiled and opened the gate carefully, he closed it as soon as Eowyn entered; there were others with them. "Are you fuckin crazy?" A man yelled, he was greying. "Dutch, don't worry. This zombie saved us." Carol nodded. "But it's only a matter of time till his hunger isn't satisfied by the bird he ate. We will have to feed him animals if we want to keep him around." Carol sighed, Lizzie let go of her mothers hand and walked over to Eowyn. "Hello!" Lizzie smiled, she wasn't scared of Eowyn anymore, knowing that zombies don't really get satisfied with animal blood or flesh. But he did.
Eowyn looked down at Lizzie and raised his hand up, trying to speak. "He can't speak, that's sad." Carol frowned and took off her gas mask, revealing a woman with blue eyes and purple hair. Lizzie took off her mask, Lizzie had green eyes and pink hair. "Can we be friends?!" Lizzie smiled widely. Randall didn't take his gas mask off though.
They were scared of him a minute ago and now they were befriending him. Why? Eowyn didn't want to hurt them. "I suggest we put a guard over his mouth and tie him up till we know what to do with him." Dutch spoke, Randall sighed and nodded. "Okay, we will tie him up against a tree, we'll decide what to do with him tomorrow." Dutch nodded and grabbed Eowyn, he didn't fight back. He knew this would be a safety measure. He put a mask over his head so he wouldn't bite, and Randall tied him up. "I'm sorry, but this is a safety measure buddy…" he stood up and walked off.
Eowyn just sat there, a few hours have passed and it was now midnight. The crickets chirped consistently, it felt peaceful to Eowyn. He felt tired, why was that?
He closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep, zombies don't have the ability to sleep, so why can he?

"EOWYN! EOWYN!" A girl yelled, who was she? Eowyn was his name?
He looked around and saw a whole town was on fire, people ran away from zombies and some got tackled and bitten. "COME!" the girl yelled as she ran further away from him. Eowyn tried chasing after her. "HELP ME! I DON'T KNOW YOU!" He couldn't catch up with her but she was further away.
She turned around, her short hair flowing. It was muddy now, blood gushed out of her neck. "Why did you leave me behind? I loved you." She somehow came closer within a blink of an eye. "I protected you, Eowyn. And now you're one of them…" the girl smiled, Eowyn panicked and looked around; he saw more people, they were laughing at him; same with the girl. "YOU'RE PATHETIC! PATHETIC!"
Eowyn fell to the ground and grabbed his head, tears dribbled down his face. "STOP PLEASE! STOP IT!" The laughing echoed through his ears.

Lizzie woke Eowyn up, he jumped up and twitched a bit. "You were moving a lot in your sleep, nightmare?"
Was that a nightmare? It was scary. Eowyn nodded. Lizzie smiled and patted him on the head gently. "There, there. I get them all the time as well." She smiled. "Look up at the stars! They will make all of the dreams better!" She jumped up and stared into the sky in amazement. He now knew his name was Eowyn. "It's beautiful! Isn't it?"
Eowyn looked up and stared into the starry night, it was indeed beautiful; one of the most beautiful things he has seen, though he couldn't remember the other beautiful moments he could have had. "You really like it?" Lizzie looked at him, Eowyn just stayed silent and stared into the sky, the clouds were gone and it showed a blank dark sky with tons of glowing lights. Eowyn nodded in response, Lizzie smiled and walked off. "See ya in the morning." She turned to look at him. "New friend."
