THE MONSTERS UNFROZEN
"She's covering for us, for our escape", the scout replied to me.
"We should go save Wesley from Shadowmend", I told Aaron.
"I have orders to hold this line and guard the carriages. We are not going into the unknown just to save one person", he replied to me.
"Damn you, a life is at stake out there", I quarreled with him.
"If we don't follow orders, all our lives are at stake", he replied to me.
Suddenly, our argument became moot because the monsters in this frozen city reached us. To our surprise, these monsters were humans and not creatures.
But it wasn't wrong to describe them as monsters because they were. They were monsters who rose from the dead.
"Hold the line", Aaron told his men as they stood their ground before the rampaging monsters who charged toward us.
