"Why will a rift between the duke and general Volker help us win the battle?" Queen Mistral asked me with curiosity.
"I need to send a message to the Gureens", I replied to her.
"General Volker and his men intentionally leaked his plans to assassinate Duke Jean and burn the granary to the cellmates in prison who were believed to be Gureen spies", Duke Jean Gregoire explained further before he added, "After Volker's men broke him from the prison, the Gureen spies followed them out of the prison and returned to report to the Gureen command."
