REACHING KALYDON CITY
"Rumble..rumble..rumble"
"The Stampedes are coming again", Captain Jonner suddenly told me.
"What stampedes?" I asked him.
"They have been storming our ship for years and most of our ship was destroyed by those animals", Captain Jonner told me.
I looked out from the shuttle entrance to the Battle Carrier and found hundreds of magical creatures crashing into the ship. The weakest of these creatures were at least the equivalent of Earth Tier, and it was surprising that this ship could withstand the stampedes for so many years.
"Why are the animals rushing at the Battle Carrier?" I asked him.
"Because we are in the middle of the calling path. The Conjurers from Kalydon City forced the animals toward us", Captain Jonner told me to my surprise.
"Why will they attract the animals to attack you and why are you willing to stay?" I asked him.
