The orcs's expedition to Aesica fortress failed miserably with not a single survivor left to tell the tale.
For the rest of the year, the orcs didn't venture into Aesica forest.
The shock of losing one-fourth of their entire army wasn't easy to bear for the orcs. Even now the orc army still failed to gauge the strength of the surprising Nyx uprising in the south.
"What do we do now my lord?" Hurran asked me about my plans for the future.
"Well, we need to find allies", I told Hurran.

The next year was peaceful for Nyx kingdom and the orc threat was all but gone from the Aesica forests.
There was a reason for that, and it was because the orcs couldn't afford another major battle in the south after the defeat of the huge offensive from Anhialo city.
