Eirot tried to remove the arm guard from Ivor, but the arm guard was locked to his arm by some kind of magic.
"Damnit, does it mean we have to chop off his arm?" Eirot asked me.
It seemed it was impossible to steal the training gear from Ivor and our trip here was futile.
"Are we going back now?" Eirot asked me.
"No, I'm not leaving empty handed", I told her.
I checked the arm guard again and tried to unlock it from Ivor but failed. When I was about to give up, I noticed a faint light on a crystal embedded to the arm guard.
Ivor must be passively training his templar magic even in his sleep.
"That must be the core of the artifact", I told Eirot.
"What are you going to do?" she asked me.
I quickly took out a plier and broke the crystal from Ivor's arm guard careful not to wreck the crystal. My training as a carpenter helped me in extracting the crystal.
