Suddenly Aluva was stopped from her violence.
Aluva looked like she was stunned and dropped to her knees. But she wasn't motionless because her hands were moving, pulling herself in a strange way.
"What the hell is she doing?" I asked Eirot.
"Shut up, I need to concentrate", she replied to me.
Whatever was happening to the Mistress was courtesy of Eirot it seemed. If I had to guess, Eirot was somehow pulling Aluva's soul out of her.
I've seen this kind of soul magic before, in my previous life, when his wife Tori who could drag the soul out from powerful dragons and drakes even.
What Eirot was doing was something like that.
"Soul Ripping"
"Damnit Eirot how did you become so powerful", I asked Eirot, but she didn't answer me because she was focused on sucking out Aluva's soul.
I might have really underestimated Eirot and never really considered much about her soul magic.
