POWER VS CONSTITUTION
The village town have witnessed the growth of Raven and Bommurs but what they didn't expect was the two suddenly transformed into monsters, monsters that could be the match for the monster bullies of this town, Bellum and Tallum.
Bellum and Tallum's magical charged punches did nothing to hurt Raven and Bommurs, as they defended their punches and kept their feet standing.
"How did you grow this strong?" Bellum shouted at them and asked.
"Your momma gave me a good bath and I became strong", Bommurs replied to him.
After absorbing the Tanith hearts that I gave to them my friends' Templar magic increased to level 4 which was about the same as the bullying twins.
"Bang..bang,,bang"
As the bullying twins punched Bommurs and Raven again, they were unaffected by them but instead, they counter punched the twins that threw them several feet away.
"How did Bommurs and Raven block Bellum and Tallum's punches with their bodies?" the shopkeepers asked among themselves.
They were wearing the Tanith armor that I made for them inside, so the twin's punches were fully absorbed by the magic armor.
"Impossible how can you scums have magic armors", Tallum shouted at the two boys as Michonn started to glance at us and take notice.
Magic armors were rare in Slowan village and expensive too and there were no way poor kids like us could afford it and Michonn was interested in how we got ourselves such good stuff.
"You beggars must have stolen somebody's armor, give it back or we'll kill all of you", Michonn told us.
"We didn't steal from no one and now get lost", I told Michonn to get lost.
"How dare you talk back to me", Michonn shouted at me as he launched his strongest punch at me.
Michonn's hand was charged with the same magic that Bellum and Tallum mustered against my friends, except with exponentially stronger potency. Michonn didn't reserve his power this time to attack me because he was planning to kill me with his strongest punch.
But the punch was ineffective as I kicked him into the air, and he fell a dozen feet behind him.
"What's happening, how did these scums become so strong?", Tallum asked out loud.
"This is unbelievable, even more unbelievable than Raven and Bommurs", a shopkeeper asked the crowd.
"Orion, the carpenter's son? Isn't he the one who couldn't awaken his Templar magic? How can he throw back the baron's son like he was a piece of trash", someone added.
"Not anymore, Orion has awakened his magic recently", Bommurs told the curious questioner.
Michonn was at Awakening Level 5, and he was the strongest young templar in the village at his age. His templar Power was at 3 stars probably which gave him the strongest punch among us but that wasn't enough to hurt me even a little because I wore a correspondingly effective +3 armor.
"They are wearing armor effectively equivalent to a three stars Constitution magic", someone with the knowledge spoke out to speculate.
Added to my existing templar Constitution magic, my magical body armor enhanced the armor that I was wearing effectively increasing its strength and endurance to overcome the baron's son's magically charged and devastating punch.
"All you useless things go kill them now", Michonn shouted at his goons as they came to attack us when he realized his templar magic was not enough to defeat us.
However, even a dozen or so of Michonn's goons wasn't enough to defeat us while we wore Tanith armor and after a short fight, we chased them all away.
"I'll be back", Michonn told us as he left.
"Hooray we beat the bullies", Bommurs cried out loud as the people around the market came to cheer us winning the fight against the bullies.
"This won't end here", Raven told us as we were about to return home.
"Yes, that Michonn wouldn't live with the shame of today's loss", Bommurs added.
"That is a problem for another damn day", I replied to them.

For the next few weeks, we didn't hear more from Michonn and his goons, so we went about our daily lives.
Bommurs and Raven didn't want to go deeper into the forest even though the magical creatures around the outer forest were depleted by our intensive farming, so I ventured deeper into the forest by myself.
I needed an enormous amount of magic to advance and that wasn't possible with the reagents available in the village.
The only things that would help me were magical hearts from higher-tiered magical creatures, at least Mercury Tiered and above. But to hunt overpowered creatures was quite dangerous for me, so I ran through Greenduff's stuff and got all the useful rings that he had hidden in his secret stash.
Besides the Ring of Vines, I found a Ring of Gush and a Ring of Sparks hidden by the traveling Conjurer.
Although Greenduff left me in his hut to collect reagents for him I've enough reagents that would last him a year just dissecting and processing the Tanith carcass I brought back, so there wasn't much to do for him.
In my free time, I hunted powerful magical creatures deep inside the forest. After killing the creatures, I absorbed both their souls and magical hearts to grow both my Templar and soul magic.
In three months' time, my Templar magic increased again to Awakening Level 3.

(Author's Note)
I would like to clarify about the "+" number to templar skills and armor that may be a little confusing and not properly explained in the story.
The "+" indicates having magical stars inside the individual realms of the templar sky. So, with a one star in the Power sky of templar, a templar could magically enhance his strength to throw a powerful +1 punch.
Correspondingly, a +1 in Constitution would give the templar magical body armor that could withstand a +1 Power strike from a templar without much harm. Only a +2 Power strike and above could harm a +1 constitution templar.
Armor on the other hand is assigned a "+" number indicating its strength relative to the strength of templar's Constitution star magic, mainly for comparison purposes.
So, wearing a +2 armor would be impervious to a +1 punch.
However, this system is a simple generalization of the magic of this world and as the story progresses, more factors will come into play to determine the strength and defenses of the templar. But suffice for these early chapters, I use this simplification to illustrate the battle system.
I am also trying to pull off explaining a novel magic system like the system in a computer RPG game 😊
