- Your grace!, - Terry entered the queen's room rushing, - The news you were waiting for arrived.
Anabel was fixing the fire with the tong enjoying the heat and the wind coming from out of the windows.
- Is it so?, - the queen turned around and raised her eyebrow running her fingers through her blonde a bit grayed hair.
- Should I let the assistant come in?
- Of course!, - she said and turned back playing with the fire.
Terry got out and the man entered inside closing the door behind him.
- Your majesty! The most noble and beautiful between all rulers that ever existed!, - The man came close and took the queen's hand kissing it with respect.
- Oh for god's sake Vanner, stop your noble acting, because it looks so fake in you!, - she joked at him and said, - Tell me what did you find out?
- Okay!, - he raised up and looked at her, - Like you ordered me, I followed the prince and the princess and I must tell that what I saw really worried me!
- What was it?
- They came back from haunting in the Granada, but this was not the worst thing., - Vanner went on telling the story with his proud voice, - At the Small House they met with two young men and a woman, and I saw them making love everyone with everyone.
- Even between each other?
- Yes, but still this was not the worst part your grace.
- My god Vanner, the worst parts look like not having an ending with you!
- I bet my life that the people that entered inside were the scariest combination you could see. I knew their faces, I had seen them before.
- And who were they?
- Prince Loras, prince Sebastian and princess Mary of the Wolfly dynasty!
His words froze the queen's spirit right were she was standing. The fear rose in her heart, and the memories. The tong fell from her hands and her face turned deluded disappointed and surprised.
- The children of the enemy?!, - she said with a now different and disgusted voice, - You can leave Vanner!
Anabel knew how to pull herself together soon.
- What did happen An?, - Terry entered and asked noticing that despite her proud serious look something was wrong.
- I can't lose time Terry. I can not let the werewolves be free knowing that they have a reason to attack our kingdom now., - Anabel said with the old paranoia woken in her, than turned her eyes to Terry and after a moment said, - The story is repeating itself, my daughter and son are sleeping with the children of Daniel Wolfly!
- Are you sure you wanna do what you are gonna do?, - Terry's face was clearly worried, - Think twice before doing it. You are queen now, not your father, how is it a story repeating itself!
- It might! Because Daniel could do to my children, what my father dis to Juan., - Anabel turned her face away, since the tears didn't listen to her and decorated her eyes, - I have made my decision!
The next evening Anabel Vampiryon took her way up to the dark road. After so may years she ran up to the High Hill were the trees became deader and deader. This place reminded her even more of the years of the war.
She moved the the highest point of the Hill and went to the palace of the witches of the central order. Everything was dead around and the palace itself looked same. Anabel climbed the stairs in the gardens listening to the sounds of the bats. She mourned for their souls knowing that they were all vampires cursed to be bats forever and to never die. She climbed to the door and knocked. A witch opened and asked:
- Who may enter the Black palace?
- Anabel Vampiryon, queen of The Vampire's Kingdom, - she answered with a clear voice, - I am here to meet the Great Witch!
- Is it really you your grace?, - the witch said surprised, - Forgive me for not recognizing you.
- I don't blame you, I have changed a lot through the years.
- You have not visited our order for 25 years your majesty. I hope good reasons finally bring you here.
- Not so good., - Anabel answered as they walked in the hallway.
- I hope you will find a solution, - she said, - I will leave you here, if you remember were does the Great Witch stay.
- Of course I do know!
Anabel entered the room and saw the Great Witch staring at the window out.
- Emarya!, - Anabel called, - Aren't you turning around to great your old friend?
- Anabel! I nearly couldn't recognize you., - the Great Witch said with her powerful yet soft voice, - The last time I saw you, you were a just crowned queen, and now look at you!
Emarya, who brought the title of the Great Witch, was an old friend of the queen. She was her age, but somehow had managed to keep still black, the hair she kept under a handkerchief.
- And now I have grown old right?, - the queen smirked, - But you have changed too, and your voice also.
- You look gorgeous like always, but more mature and serious. The reign has made you a bit too much devoted., - than the Great Witch shut and looked at her for a moment, - So when I left you, you were not feeling at your best, how did things go?
- My hair didn't just get grey by chance!, - Anabel joked at herself, - Things didn't get better believe me, I learned to control and to distract myself, but my soul could never heal.
- Of course it couldn't., - The Great Witch said with a comforting voice, - I remember very well how your happiness was ripped out of your hands.
- What an irony., - Anabel went on, - I really think sometimes if it was better never having known him. And sometimes I can not imagine the idea of never having known him. I wonder if it is worse that I knew the feeling of having him, despite the pain of losing him, or if it would be better never having known the true love I felt for him.
- Those are dilemmas tou can not get the answer to!, - the witch said, - If you were part of the simple people, you would understand nothing, and you would chose the second option of the dilemma. But people like us always wonder what is better, comfort and ignorance or pain and understanding and feeling.
- What wonders me most now my friend, are my children., - Anabel said, - I am afraid of the story repeating itself, because I found out that my Kassy and Jacky are sleeping with the new generation of Wolflys. A news that shot me like an arrow in my past wound of pain, misery and fear. I came here to protect my kingdom and my family from their king, I can't risk losing time.
- You want me to activate the curse of the moon right?, - Emarya asked with an expression that told she knew it was wrong.
- It is the only way to be safe., - the queen tried to feel and seem justified in her action, - It will only prohibit them to transform into animals, and if they decide to attack us they will be in disadvantage.
- Anabel, prohibiting an werewolf from being a wolf is like taking half of their lives! Are you sure you want to do this?, - The Great Witch tried to reason with her, - What will they feel the night of the full moon?
- They might decide to transform, despite the pain., - Anabel answered, - They are not prohibited, they just feel pain during the process.
- Irresistible pain!, - she reminded her.
- I know!, - Anabel strictly said, - That is the idea, so they won't be able to fight with us in wolf form!
- Okay An, you decide., - Emarya obeyed and said out loud, - If so may the moon curse them with pain, so they will never dare transform again!
The next morning The Great Witch and her council of close witches got out in the woods and started the spell. In the queen's eyes they performed the spell. The sky cried in rain and showed it's fury in storm, while the Anabel just closed her eyes blinded by her paranoia.
