Shizure rin wakes up in her bed. Ready for another day in her life as a future princess of this castle. She was close to her next birthday, the birthday that she could officially make her there as a princess who would command the future of the kingdom.
- Knock Knock - "Princess, are you awake yet?"
-"yes I'm already awake, come in" (shizure)
The maid came into the room to brush my hair. Until she was very pretty, even more so than me. But the strangest thing is that she was never interested in anyone. I wonder why?
-"princess please sit here so I can brush her hair"
-"oh sure, just a sec" (shizure)

While shizure walked through the castle. She saw her father talking to someone. A person I've never seen before. The person was wearing a brown robe and I couldn't see who it was.
I didn't want to bother, as I thought I was a messenger or a merchant. So I decided to go to the dining room, where everyone was waiting.
I walked into the dining room and magically my father was already there. how did he get there so fast? I thought he passed through the kitchen. It was the only place closest to the dining room.
-"shizure, won't you sit down to eat?" (mother)
-"oh yes I will"(shizure)
I left that aside.
I sat at the table and There was everything I liked for breakfast. I was very happy about it. but I wanted to know why all this.
As much as it had everything I liked, the dining room was quiet. Nobody said anything. Even the employees were uncomfortable. The atmosphere was threatening, I think my father and mother were still fighting.
After a while my dad said.
-"shizure... You'll have to get married today" (dad)
-"eh!?, what do you mean. That wouldn't be on my birthday" (shizure)
The atmosphere was quiet. That's what was making the dining room so uncomfortable. Shizure would have to marry that ridiculous fat man.
-"b-but why?. What happened to me having to marry him so soon before I turned 17" (shizure)
-"he promised that he would help in the future of the nation. We didn't tell you this but the kingdom is rapidly going bankrupt with protection fees against demons" (father)
My mom was quiet about the whole situation. It was her style to put pressure on people to get what she wanted. Maybe, maybe she had done that to my dad
-"obey your shizure father, he knows what is best for you" (mother)
-"Dad... Is this true? You sold me to someone for money?"(shizure)
My dad didn't say anything... He was there, looking down. Avoiding eye contact. He didn't want this, but he had no choice but to sell me
-"okay, I'll marry him"(shizure)
As I looked down. My dad looked at me…he really didn't want to do this. I knew that.
-"so go to your room and prepare your things to leave. A carriage has already been called and will arrive in an hour" (mother)
-"right...thanks for the food"(shizure)
I left the room towards my bedroom. I needed to pretend nothing happened, I didn't want suzu to know that.
In front of my room I could hear the suzu singing... She wasn't finished yet. I wish she didn't worry about it
I went into my room.
-"oh!, hello shizure. I haven't finished tidying your room yet but feel free" (suzu)
Shizure took a deep breath not to cry
-"no more tidying my room"(shizure)
-"hey why not" (suzu)
-"I'm going on a business trip and I'll be there for a while. So help me with the luggage for now" (shizure)
-"right"(suzu)
She didn't ask why... Maybe she had realized the truth. I could never lie well
-one hour later-
-"princess, your bags are ready" (suzu)
-"ok, thanks for helping me"(shizure)
-"no problem"(suzu)
-knock-knock- "shizure the carriage has arrived. Hurry up and let's go" (father)
-"certain father"(shizure)
While she left her room her father was waiting outside to accompany her. He might try to apologize for what he did. I didn't want him to say anything, I didn't want him to feel guilty
The two walked together to where the transport awaited her
On wedding trips, parents must accompany their daughter. It was a custom of many kingdoms.
We got into the carriage and left. Several of my relatives were saying goodbye to me... Suzu was at my bedroom window waving at me
When we were well away from the castle my father took a deep breath. he would say something
-"sorry shizure, really sorry" (dad)
-"I understand, you did this because of my mother"(shizure)
-"yes... But that wasn't the only reason" (father)
-"so what was it" (shizure)
-"the real reason was-"(father)
Suddenly the carriage stopped
-"hey you! Get out of the way! we're in a hurry so hurry up"
The midori... what was he talking to
I stuck my head out the window
-"Please help me"
He was an old man. He looked really worried. Did the demons attack his village?
-"hey what's going on out there?" (father)
-"an old man is in our way king. Shall I take him out of the way by force?" (midori)
-"no, we already have a lot of problems to deal with. Try to get him out of the way without using force" (father)
-"come on, let me take care of the carriage" (hajiro)
Hajiro agreed but did not get out of the carriage
-"you, hurry up and say what you want" (midori)
-"our village has become infested with demons. Please help us"
The old man seemed to be afraid of something. something more than demons
-"midori beware!"(hajiro)
Midori was hit in the neck by a knife that flew out of the forest.
-"shit!"(hajiro)
Hajiro made the horses to run as fast as possible
-"hey hajiro what's going on" (shizure)
-"I told you before we were ambushed. They killed midori" (hajiro)
-"are they after us?"(shizure)
-"I can't see them so I don't know"(hajiro)
Hajiro was just forcing the horses to go faster than they already could. As a result, the carriage ran over a rock and lost control. Midori flew from the seat next to the hajiro and fell to the ground with her knife stuck in her neck.
Shizure managed to get well, only suffered a small cut on her arm
His father hit his head and started to bleed...
When all was silent the ropes that guided the horses were broken. the horses fled through the forest
-"Dad are you alright?"(shizure)
his father didn't answer
Shizure looked at his forehead. he was fine
His father still dizzy with everything looked at shizure and said
-"get away from here now, I'll be fine" (dad)
his father knew he would be a nuisance with his current state.
-"I can't leave you" (shizure)
-"doesn't matter, go soon" (father)
Shizure just obeyed and tried to open the door to get out.
the door opened and shizure started to climb
-"I'll come back"(shizure)
She closed the door and climbed out of the carriage. And then at the bottom of the path they had taken. the bandits approached
They noticed her and then Shizure ran into the forest
-"(Dad I'll be back, just wait)"(shizure)
Letting tears fall down her face, she swore she would come back for her father.
