I have been trying to study this damned skill book called [Fireball] and [WaterBall] for quite some time now but I can't seem to quite understand this complicated set of runes or whatever the hell this scribbles are that seem to even be more complicated than calculus.
Hello, my name is Austin leywin and for some dumb reason which by the way is a really strong damned wind i fell from the rooftop of the campus while eating my lunch because i thought that eating in there is cool.
Well of course it's also because i have only a few true friends and they are absent at that same day because they all thought that there will be no classes today due to the strong winds but it's most definitely really only because they are lazy and want to just stay at home and play video games.
So why the hell did i still go to school even tho all my friends did not? it's because unlike them that have family and a pc that they could play in their homes.
I have no family member that i know of that are still alive or would want to take care of me, and i only have a mobile phone that i need the school campus free wifi for to play the few online games i like to play and the movies i like to watch.
But even with all the challenges that fate played in my little dramatic life i was still there living and having some fun with friends and relying in my brains to save the remaining money my parents left me before they passed and studied extremely hard inorder to get a scholarship in a very good school so that i could get a good job and live myself a uneventful but good life.
This is why when death is about to claim my little life i only closed my eyes and hoped that atleast I've tried my very best till the end.
With tears in my eyes and various regrets that I've felt, i eventually felt the ground coming to a near ready to claim my life.
I fortunately did not feel pain, but only warmth as when i opened my eyes yet again i woke up in a forest I don't know where and why with a blooded clothes.
Right there and then i heard a voice that is seemingly calling for me and said. "You have passed, i welcome you into the acade----" that is what i have only heard before i passed out probably due to the blood loss.
When i woke up yet again... i woke up in a white bed with white curtains that acted like clothes, right there and then did i realize that I'm probably at a hospital bed.
'Hmm... Why the hell does this hospital so medieval looking? who the hell still uses stone blocks for a ceiling...' that's what my last thought before the memories of the previous owner of this body came and wreaked havoc in my brain that caused me to nearly pass out again due to the massive pain.
From the memories that I've gained, this original body's owner is also named Austin leywin and have come from a small nobility that govers a town in a certain low tier kingdom. due to my parents being somewhat considered still a nobility they are able to save some small wealth that they then used to give me a qualification to try and enter this mage academy. tho it's only one of the many small academy out there to a young boy that only came of age at 17 a few days ago it was the most amazing thing ever.
As such the previous owner of this body then bid farewell to his parents and his few friends at the town they were governing and set of to a seemingly brandnew and great world out there.
after a few weeks of traveling by the carriage that my parents got to transport me to the academy. the previous owner finally came into the seemingly magical place called "Steins magical academy" The academy even tho it's only considered a small academy among the many, the academy is still a mages academy and is placed in the middle of a huge city. the academy is in the middle of this city which is a huge stone castle.
The carriage then left after the previous owner of the body gave the fare which is a few gold coins considering the wide distance that really did took a few weeks of nearly non stop journey to cross. after thanking the coachman for his great entourage along the way that made it so that he did not kill himself from boredom.
The previous body's owner is raised well and thought well by his parents before setting out that's why he knew that he has to go straight into the academy before doing anything else.
After a few minutes of walking straight into the academy he came across two guards infront of a wide gate and asked about the enrollment for the mage academy. The guards then told him that the official start of the enrollment is by the end of the week which is at that time 2 days before it comes.
The previous owner of the body then thanked the guards for their cooperativeness and it's also not bad to gain some good impression of guards that can protect you when you're in danger so he flashed his good smile at them and left.
After leaving the guards, the previous owner of the body then went to the market place first as they he heard along the way that they are selling some reviewers for the test that the enrollment will have. after spending about 10 silver coins for 5 books which is [History of the Academy], [A guide for the problem solving test 1], [A guide for the problem solving test 2], [Speed learn Runes], and [Guide book 101]. he went into an in and stayed in the room to cram the 5 books into his head.
Even tho he's in a magical world filled with magical creatures, he's still in a low level kingdom afterall that is not very very exposed to magic unlike the other kingdoms and he's also no genius so he could only really try his very best with the books he purchased.
After 2 days of cramming and only getting enough sleep to stay awake he have atleast memorized some parts of the books he have read and set of to the campus yet again.
After a few minutes of walking he finally arrived infront of the gates. he waved his hand into the guards and asked if he could already come inside to take the tests.
The guards nodded their head at him but before the previous owner could pass by the guards one of the guards went near him and waved his hands to him seemingly gesturing him to come closer.
After walking near the guard that called him, the guard went near his head and said:
"I've heard that the new upcoming test this time is more of a field type test than a practical one so just make sure to know of the history of the academy and have some good rest inside because your body will definitely need the energy." after finishing what he said he went back into his standing pose and winked at him.
The previous owner of the body smiled and was very happy that his small kindness have brought him a great advantage over the others.
he hurriedly thanked the guards yet again as they only smiled at him back before he went inside the academy.
The inside of the entrance of the academy is filled with atleast a few hundred chairs but is still only filled with about 50-70 enrolees like him because it's still as early as 5AM at that time.
He took a seat at the east side of the hundreds of chairs without being near to no one as he truly did not know anyone inside.
The previous owner of the body then remembered the words of the guard and hurriedly closed his eyes shut while sitting to get a power nap because the guard adviced him to
After 3 hours at 8 AM sharp when Austin leywin woke up, the place is already heavily filled with people and there are even some people that are already near him.
When the place was filled with students. an old man with a long white beard dressed in a purple robe and a wizardy looking hat decended from the skies with a strong bright light in his back to seemingly produce a look of an angel descending from the heavens.
As a 17 year old, the previous owner of the body felt his blood boil as the excitement of being able to do the same overwhelmed him.
When the old wizards shoes touched the ground he spoke: "Dear enrolees of Steins magic academy, i dearly welcome all of you into our academy with the warmest of welcoming." the old man then looked at all of the enrollees and nodded his head. "we seem to have quite a few good seedlings this time around among all of you so i expect alot from this batch".
After a bunch of other greeting messages and other things he said: "Well I've kept you all here long enough so let's start with the tests, the tests this time around will mostly comprise of a practical field test wherein you will all have to stay alive inside a forest for 12 hours and a test for the history of the academy."
A loud commotion commenced as this means that their lives will be in great danger when the test starts and as young people, they have not experienced much of the world yet so some cowered in fear as the thought of going inside deep in the forest with an unknown ammount of danger.
After some time, the enrolees that are not ready for a practical test or just have cowered in fear due to danger have been alowed to leave the academy grounds.
After about 100 people went out, the previous owner of the body steeled his nerves because he like the others felt fear from the unknown dangers.
The old wizard then glanced at the remaining few hundred enrolees that remained he nodded his head and spoke onece again: "The few hundred of you who have bravely still decided to take the test are worthy of entering the academy, now the first test shall begin and it's "History of the academy".
A bunch of papers then fell from the sky and was received by each and everyone of the students. After confirming that everyone has the test papers the old man then spoke about the rules of the test.
After 2 hours the test was concluded with only a few being eliminated due to not even having passed over 75% of the test.
The previous owner of the body was extremely happy because he had a score of 76% barely a passing mark but it's a pass non the less so why not celebrate a little!
The old wizard then nodded at them yet again seemingly approving of the remaining hundred of students. with a wizened tone, the old wizard said: "All of you who have passed the test are now eligible to enter the second part of the test which is to survive for a total of 12 hours inside a forest full of magical beasts" the old wizard then waved his hands and a big staff appeared in his hands.
The staff is a majestic staff that is seemingly made out of a gold metal thing with a purple mystical globe on top of it.
The staff shone with a purple light and after a few seconds a dark portal appeared at the place wherein the old wizard is pointing his staff towards.
After another few seconds, the portal that the old wizard made was finally stabilized and the scenery at the other side of the portal can be seen.
A beautiful grass plains was laid bear before the enrolees eyes as amazement and utter astonishment from what had just happened overwhelmed their faces.
