"Hey Luna! What are you staring at?" he said teasingly. He left out a soft laugh while he is waving his hands in front of my face.
"Why do you need to startle me everytime you see me Lucas?" I said while greeting my teeth in anger.
Whenever I see him I can't help but to be pissed off.
We are seatmates in this subject and I hate sitting next to him. He is really noisy and I can't focus on the lecture.
I leaned my back on the chair as I close my eyes in anger.
"Oh, are you mad? I was not planning to scare you but the look on your face was so satisfying to watch." he said jokingly while he is sitting next to me.
Oh god! I really can't stand this guy. The first week in senior highschool is so tiring especially when I am with Lucas.
Lucas Alexander Buenaventura has been my classmate since middle school. We are not really close, but my mom and his mom are best friends.
He is a good looking guy, and honestly girls like to chase him. He has a fair skin, his height is around 5'7 and he has a toned body. He also has a very positive aura though he looks like he is a snob.
"Whatever, seeing you just ruins my day and being with you just sucks". I pulled my chair to make a distance between us.
Of all people why have we become seatmates?
"Hey, you should be grateful that I am the one who is sitting beside you. Would you be interested sitting with those guys?" he whispered, while he is secretly pointing to the other guys in our class.
I turned away from our classmates gazes as I looked at him.
"I have no option but to seat with you but please just make my life easier. I don't want any trouble." I sighed.
My middle school journey has been tough especially when Lucas introduced me to everyone as his girlfriend.
There's this girl who is so obsessed with him and he really wanted to get rid off her.
One day he just dragged me out of nowhere. Then he putted his arms around my shoulders as we approached this girl.
I was really dumb founded. He just whispered "Help me on this one and I'll do you a favor." I have no idea what he was talking about.
As we approach the girl, he said to her "I told you I have a girlfriend so stop pestering me."
After that my junior higschool days went from being peaceful to hell. I was bullied by my school mates because a lot of girls really liked him.
"I am not going to create a mess besides, I am not the one who bullied you back then." he said while laughing.
"I never said that you bullied me but you are the reason why my Junior Highschool days become messed up. If you have never introduced me to that psycho admirer of yours things will be different." I reiterated.
"Then blame her. Don't blame me. After all you never denied that you are my girlfriend up until now." he smirked.
"Don't even get me started. I do not like to explain my self to others. Remember, you asked a favor from me and the only thing you could have done in return is to protect me but you didn't, you asshole!" I really am mad. This guy has the guts to tell me things while I suffered for almost 2 years.
"Okay, first of all I did protect you but I cannot keep an eye on everyone. You allowed them to bully you." he looked at me in the eye.
"Whatever just don't bother me again. I really want to have a peaceful life." I said in a harsh tone.
Back then I do not have the courage to stand up for my self that is why I let them bully me. It was not really a big deal for me at first because I do not engage with issues and gossips.
But after Lucas' announcement there is not a day where I haven't been bullied.
"I cannot promise that." he winked at me.
"Oh please. You do not want to be pestered yet you are pestering my life." I rolled my eyes.
He leaned close to me and he whispered "Well, I am your boyfriend after all."
I was so shocked by what he said that I cannot think of what to say next.
"Why? Is there something wrong with what I've said? You did not deny anything which is why everyone assumes we are still together." he said while fixing his things.
"What the hell is wrong with you? Can you please stop making things so hard for me? I did not deny anything nor I did not confirm it." This guy is troublesome.
"That is the problem. You did not deny nor you did not confirm. Until you don't admit it, you are my girlfriend." he looked at me with a serious face.
The school bell rang.
He stood up and left.
"Okay, what the hell?!" I shouted.
Oh no why do I sense that Senior High School will be a very challenging journey for me?
"Lucas, you really piss me off" I whispered.
