Synopsis
Duan Xianliang, the exact representation of oppression. In his eyes, nothing is worth more than himself. Well, that was, until he was in the throes of death. He could feel his life slowly slithering away, permeating into the ground. But that wasn't what he craved. He needed total control over all others. So he did what he knew best; sacrificing others for his selfish wishes. Using a forbidden spell formation, he sacrificed the lives of all citizens in his Empire for him to successfully reincarnate into a new, powerful body, but there were some miscalculations. Opening his eyes, in front of him was a pure white chamber. Just 4 walls, a ceiling and floor, nothing else. To make matters worse, he was in the body of a juvenile! An adolescent of all things, he wanted a powerful, new body! Oh, but what's this? Supposedly, this body is the vessel of all chaos that resides in this world. Maybe he’ll stay here for a while, doesn’t mean he won't cause some… mayhem.

"Please shift in 180-degree angle, Subject 50N-2." A cold monotone voice permeated the desolate chamber. He obediently turned around, but inside, he was indignant about this treatment. After the routine checkups, a door appeared seamlessly from the boxed walls. His feet pressed on the icy steel floors and looked around aimlessly.

He ambled through the hallways slowly, coming upon a seemingly drab door, but what welcomed him was another. The supposed "father" of his current body. Speaking of current body, after dealing with the shock of finding out that he now inhabits the body of an adolescent, more information flowed into his mind.

Memories of the original being created from an experiment to allow Laws to live in his body. And apparently, Laws were the big thing of this world. They allowed even the most inferior beings to rise to the statuses above everyone else, this included his "father"; Duan Yongrui, a bastard-like person who believes others inferiorities, is entertainment for himself.

Laws keep this world in proper balance, else everything would be gone to the void. He couldn't help but groan when he saw his "father's" signature grin. "Kid, seems your capabilities are even more in check than they were last week." Quickly, without him noticing, he ruffled his already messy ebony black hair.

His ruby red eyes bloomed into a blood red as he stared defiantly at the "father". Flicking off the invasive hand, he grumpily sat down on one of the nearby couches. The remote for the TV automatically switched on, playing a period drama that he was previously watching.

The "father" still stood there with his outstretched arm. "Ah~ Xiao Liang is so cold to me!" The old man pouted, "I even got little Xiao Liang a really cool present." The nickname the old fogie had given him truly angered him to no ends, but he knew immediately that that was what he wanted. He could only groan again as he reluctantly stared at the old bastard.

"Speak your mind! Else the honourable one will see that you'll never be allowed to say that emba- disrespectful name." His finger tapped against the leather of the couch, getting quicker as the old man didn't answer.

"Wuwuwu! My little Xiao Liang is so mean! Daddy just wanted to give his son a cool 16th birthday gift!" Honestly, he truly had forgotten that in this world it was common tradition to celebrate the birth date of each individual. Getting his full attention, the old man cleared his throat.

"I know how smart my little Xiao Liang is, so I'm enrolling you into school. Your talents are wasted in this small laboratory, go experience the big world out there! Just consider this another test, like usual!" The old man, out of nowhere, pulled out balloons and confetti throwing it at him.

"As my child, Duan Xianliang, you are tasked with truly experiences the tragedies and excitements of being a youthful teenager."

However, Duan Xianliang only coldly stared at him before abruptly standing up.

Duan Yongrui got into a fighting stance, Xianliang slowly walked up to him and walked past him. "Wait! My son, you must enter school. It is your destiny!" His eyes started out into the distance, "Plus, if you enter school, just think about all the trouble you could get in. Just think about how much chaos runs rampant when it comes to hormonal teenagers." Duan Yongrui clutched at Xianliang's arm tightly, not allowing him to move any further. "Huh? Come on, it'll be fun! Pretty please?" He even had puppy eyes that were glossed over.

But its only response was a disgruntled gaze. "Fine! I will give you mercy, but I shall choose what I wish to do without interference, correct?" Duan Xianliang folded under the old man's expectant gaze. He heard a muffled 'yes' but willingly chose to ignore it.

"Miranda! Prepare Liangliang's school uniform!" Xianliang need for sure that the old man had already planned for everything even without his input. He could only sigh. But before the old man left, he whispered to Duan Xiangling, "Don't be too you! Y'know, arrogant and 'honourable one' and stuff. Just tone it down for now! Okay? Okay!"

It had already been a week since the "school test" had been made. But when he was actually standing in front of the proud gates of the academy, he could only falter at the gaudy styles of the students. The skirts that barely reach the ankles, the blazer is unkept and usually layered with a hoodie... oh, it felt as if he was going to die again.

He calmly walked over the modern quartz pathway, the beautiful yet simple trees truly added to the futuristic aesthetic of the academy. Only he sighed at how the students couldn't come to realise how gorgeous it was.

But the genuine tragedy is what he was forced to wear; a long jumper with the school's logo he picked out to cover the terribly short shirt. The jumper was quite simple, but it was oversized on him, giving him a cozy look, the exact opposite of what he was going for. Trudging along the pathway, the frolicking of couples enters his vision, making him even more shocked at how obscene the younger generation was.

Eventually, he arrived in a wide area. Each wall had awards and portraits plastered onto the white walls displaying the achievements and success of the previous generations of this school. Above it all was a white plaque. On it had the school's name labelled on it, 'Mavia Academy ~ Education for studies of Laws'. Looking carefully at it, there were faint words underneath the text.

However, before he truly could get a better look at it, his head whipped behind him. Behind him was a person with quite a small stature. Their hair was a boring brown colour, making him quite disinterested already.

"A-Are you by chance Duan Xianliang? I-I'm supposed to guide you around the school." The student didn't dare to stare directly into his eyes. Duan Xianliang, in his previous life, was revered as not only the most powerful ruler, but most beautiful too. And his requirements were to have a beautiful body, so it was natural.

But his bloody and chaotic aura was another reason the student was sweating bullets just standing in his presence. "Hmm." He hummed, not giving any attention to the boy. His simple uniform was also seriously heart attack inducing to any girl or even guy.

"My name Chen Yingjie, pleasure to make your acquaintance!" He bowed deeply towards Duan Xianliang but sent themselves hurtling to the floor but before the face kissed it they were caught Duan Xianliang's hand... before he dropped him again after realising that he had touched a lower being without gloves.

Chen Yingjie quickly got back up and toured Duan Xianliang around the massive school. Where they finally arrived at his class. "This is your class, Duan Xianliang! This class holds almost all the most influential and powerful students of this year, oh you truly are amazing to stay in such a class!" Chen Yingjie drifted off to somewhere else, so Duan Xianliang decided against interrupting him.

Looking at the door, he slowly ambled closer and closer, so much so that the faint sound of chattering filled his ears.

The door swung open, almost falling off of its hinges. The previously boisterous classroom fell to silence as they glared at his figure. He walked calmly to the front where a teacher who had such deep eye bags making imagine that if class wasn't in session they'd be dead asleep on the floor.

"Ah... this is..." The teacher slowly reached for the roster underneath her desk. "Ah! Duan Xianliang, our new classmate, please be kind and supportive... okay just sit down now." Throughout her entire speech, her tone did not rise or fall, just monotone, almost like the androids in the Laboratory. "Ah... its free period... so do whatever you want... just please don't get into any trouble..."

He surveyed the room with a steady gaze and spotted an empty seat. He quietly strutted to the seat, a metallic scent trailing after him. The gaze of the students bored into his back.

Just as he was placing his things onto the floor, he was rudely interrupted. "Hey, you dolt! That seat belongs to Yuan-ge! Find another place, pronto!" A shrill voice pierced his ears, his head whipped around to find the source.

The source being a student who had a boldly coloured hair, flared trousers, unbuttoned shirt, unnecessary accessories, which included a gold ring with a complex design. Also known as the epitome of his worst nightmare. Just looking it the child, made him wish to just peel that smirk off his face, inch by inch.

Curious gazes glanced at the two of them, but quickly changed to indifference. Whilst others watched the free entertainment with schadenfreude brimming from their stares, but Duan Xianliang being used to the mocking glances of his court considered their stares as mild.

Turning his attention to the screaming banshee, he could only sum this person up in one thing.

Annoying.

"Did you not hear what I fucking said?! I said to scram, or is that-" Before the student could even finish his sentence, he collapsed to the floor grabbing at his stomach. Currently, still holding his school bag, Duan Xianliang was lowering his leg after swiftly kicking the student in the stomach. He quietly sat down and looked ahead. Outwardly, he looked calm and collected.

But inside of his head they were major conflicts; first, that a mere lower being deemed themselves worthy enough to talk down to him was preposterous; second, he had to actually touch that filthy body, imagine the amount of filth his body may have caught now. Third, he was now wondering how to teach this peasant a proper lesson.

The boisterous student became bright red with anger. He cursed violently at Duan Xianliang all the way to 18th Ancestor. They kept off spluttering saliva, but it directly hit Duan Xianliang's face. And that was his last straw. The surrounding aura became bloodthirsty. However, before anything extra could happen, the teacher suddenly woke up. "If... you're gonna fight... please register in the arena... don't want to do more paperwork..." Before falling back to sleep with a bang.

"Fine then! I, Tao Boqin, challenged Duan Xianliang to a battle." The atmosphere of the classroom became excited as they saw the unfolding events.

"Hmph! I'll allow you to challenge this honou- me." Duan Xianliang stared down into the eyes of the student, chuckling at how truly stupid and incompetent they were. His left hand gripped into a fist, as a wide grin was plastered on his face.

Ah yes, soon, soon he'll be able to taste the thing he hasn't tasted in so long.

Chaos

Chaos and I truly fit well together.
