Oliver's POV
I was on cloud nine and couldn't stop myself from grinning from ear to ear. I was excited to eat breakfast with her and her parents, but I was saddened when she ignored me as if nothing had happened to us during our date.
I tried to speak with her, but she didn't give me a chance. She is always in a hurry and ensures she is with Zafirah most of the time.
In the days that followed, she avoided me at all costs and treated me like I didn't exist. I thought I had her back in my life, but I was so wrong.
I didn't know what I did wrong. The night I spent with her during my birthday was perfect, and I expected too much after our date. But it seemed to me she regretted it now, for she looked unhappy and couldn't look at me in the eyes.
