Chapter 144 - New Hope

Oliver's POV

Three days had passed, but Lana didn't return to our prison, and I was worried she was ignoring us. I had only seen her during my fights at the arena, but I could tell she was avoiding my gaze every time I looked at her; and so far, I had killed five innocent werewolves, and I was feeling so down, and I couldn't stop myself from feeling so irritated.

I wanted to get out of our prison, but our only hope didn't come back, and I wondered if the black wolf knew we found out about Lana's secret.

I always had a feast at every end of my fight, and I learned to enjoy my meal even if I felt guilty about killing innocent lives.

"Don't worry, Oliver, I am sure Lana will come one of these days," I heard Declan say after I got back from my latest fight, and I was silent as I sat inside my cell.
