Victoria's POV
"You looked so beautiful, my friend," Trina murmured as I stared at my reflection in my vanity mirror.
"Thank you," I responded with a smile.
I looked radiant in my simple cerulean mini-dress. I chose to wear a less fancy dress to make Owen believe I wasn't excited about this dinner date.
"I wondered where he was taking me since there were no longer restaurants or cafes in the city. My beloved hometown turned into a ghost town after Caligo's attack." I added.
"That's what makes your date more exciting," My friend responded with a giggle.
"Come on, Trin, we both knew it wasn't a date," I replied.
"You can't deny it. The look on your face was enough to tell me you are super excited about it," she stated, and I narrowed my eyes as I turned my head and looked at her.
