Hearing strange noises , blood spread all over , a girl with band aids which covered her neck and hands shouting for help , a girl with long canine teeth desperate for blood .
Xael woke up as drops of sweat beads covered her forehead which shined like crystals when the morning rays hit her forehead . panting heavily and sweating a lot , Xael heard a music , it was creepy and scary , filled with depression and the music was played from a flute in a mild tone . searching for her flute under her bed , Xael couldn't find it .
finally she founded it near her pillow , frowning a little she took the flute . but as soon as she took the flute in her hands , the music stopped , sighing heavily , she kept it on her study table and went to her school .
"everything is a bad luck today" sighed Xael as tears threatened to flow from her eyes controlling herself from embarrassed more , she headed home immediately walking furiously through the the pathways , letting all her tears out , she finally reached the home as she rang the bell furiously .
Sabina opened the door as she widened her eyes seeing her daughter's puffy eyes and messy hair . The younger girl immediately hugged her mom and cried hard .
"shh... everything is fine " Sabina comforted the younger girl as she took her the couch . Bringing some water Sabina asked her what was the problem . Explaining about her bad day today in school " I hate this birthday mom " she completed her big story .
Sabina felt so worried about her daughter as she sighed heavily . Hugging Xael with her arms , she rubbed her back gently . Xael yawned , feeling tired . " sleepy hmm?" Sabina asked the younger girl who was clutching on to her t shirt tightly . Xael nodded cutely as a pout formed in her lips . Sabina chuckled at her daughters cuteness . " go and change your dress , I will send an e - mail and come hm?" Sabina said as Xael nodded and dragged herself to her room .
Xael was laying in the bed resting her head in the headboard . The door opened revealing Sabina with a small box . She came and sat near Xael . " what's that mom?" asked Xael as she was curious . " why don't you see it yourself " Sabina said as handed the box to Xael .
Xael opened the box as she found a ring which had infinity symbol with a heart at the corner . she widened her eyes as she squealed " MOM!!! THIS IS THE RING WHICH I ASKED YOU RIGHT!!!!" Sabina nodded with a smile . " WOAH!!! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! " " THANKYOU SO MUCH MOM" Xael said as tears formed in her eyes as she hugged Sabina tightly . Sabina chuckled sweetly . " tomorrow you have school right ... sleep soon hm" the younger girl nodded as she put the ring in the box and pulled the blankets over .
Sabina got up and was about to leave but Xael stopped her ." wait mom ! " what's wrong ?" Sabina asked as she turned around . " can you sing for me mom?" Xael asked as Sabina nodded and sat beside her . Xael immediately crawled to her as she laid her head on her mothers chest . Sabina sang xael's favorite song ( baby powder - by Jenevieve ) Xael immediately calmed down and slept .
Sabina smiled as she made her lay on the bed properly and tugged the sheets . She kissed the top of her head and went to sleep in her room .
Waking up continuously with the music and terrible scenes running in her head became a routine now .. yes! Xael had been waking up with the sound of the flute every morning , she also gets those terrible scenes over an d over again and every day would end up being a bad day for the little girl .
blood flowing from the neck , cold fingers brushing the blood , gun shots heard all over , and there she was panting heavily as she sat erect .she heard the same flute music running in the background and once again she found it near her pillow but she clearly remember that she threw it out of the window last morning . that's it !! she was done with all of this ! taking the flute in her hand as she kept it in the closet locker as she locked it and headed to the living room wearing her fluffy bunny slippers .
Still sleepy , rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand she went to her mom who was in the kitchen . " good morning honey .... " Sabina smiled softly as she hugged the small figure standing there still sleepy . " still sleepy ?" Sabina asked a s she chuckled at the younger girls cuteness .
Xael nodded slowly as she went to the stove seeing what was her breakfast . " boring as always , she thought herself as she sighed . " Xael here ..... have coffee , you will feel better " Sabina said as she extended her hand which was holding the coffee mug . Xael grabbed as she mouthed a small thank you . going to the living room she switched on the TV . she squealed in happiness as she saw her favorite movie was going on and it was " Aladdin " .
She took a sip of her coffee as she was immersed in the movie . She was waiting for her favorite song " PRINCE ALI " . Just when the song was about to start , the power was cut as Xael's expression changed from a excited one to an angry and mad one . " what the heck!!!" she cursed as she threw the remote in anger .
But oops ! luck wasn't on her side , the remote hit a vase which was Sabina's favorite gift . The vase fell down as it scattered to pieces on the floor . she gasped loud as she kept her hands on her mouth in shock . Sabina came running as she heard the sound . She widened her eyes when she saw the mess which the younger girl created . Anger rushed through but she reminded herself to be calm and raised an eyebrow at Xael indicating her if she had any explanation . "sorry mom , the bloody power went off when I was watching my favorite scene , so I lost my temper as I threw the remote which hit the vase accidently but I -" Xael explained as she lowered her head .
the poor girl didn't know that her mothers anger was increasing every passing second . " shut up Xael!!! " Sabina cut her off , " do you think you can show anger on it! you can watch it anytime but can you get the same vase huh!! learn to control your anger ! and , no TV for one week ! see how you are! messy hair , dirty clothes , eye bags ! go and have a bath first ! " " but mo-"Xael was about to protest but Xael cut her again " stop! my wordings are final! now go!" Xael hung her head down as she went straight to her room .
Xael knew if she argued back she is going to be hurt more so she went to her room with loud steps . sitting on the bed she sighed . " isn't one week without watching TV too much ?! " she asked herself . " why do I have to go through this all by myself ?" she thought for a while as she realized that she had been getting these bad vibes from the day before her birthday , exactly from when she got the flute .
