Glover was on to something and I knew killing me wasn't his main goal. I had tried to tame Kevin's wolf with my alpha magic but it had bounced off him. It was safe to say that Glover was creating an army that was immune to my control.
The whole pack was at-risk housing Kevin. Glover was no longer fighting fair. He was using sorcery and other things. I was worried about our future. Glover had been extremely cunning and creative. He had put us on the defensive, giving us no room to be on the offensive. Although Alex had a lot on his plate, especially the issue with his mother, I needed to make him understand why it was paramount to concentrate on dealing with Glover.
The situation with Glover was gradually getting out of hand. Someone that I had believed would be easy to crush had become impossible to predict or reach.
