As soon as everyone was safe my claws grew out, I was prepared for battle. I knew the pack members were watching from their windows but so far they were out of the way, it was okay.
Sylvester, Gilbert, Christian and Bill had shifted and were ready to fight. Alex was the last to shift but his wolf was bigger than I remembered. Damien's fur had golden outlines and his eyes were golden with dark rims. I liked his upgrades. It soothed him. I could tell that Alex was surprised too.
Our wolves had merged and I could feel it. I felt the strength emitting from him. It was incredible. I was high on power.
I finally shifted completely and led the charge. We charged towards the mutants and they too responded with full speed.
I bit off the arm of the first mutant I came in contact with. From the way it's blood-splattered, I knew it was going to be a blood bath.
