It was time for Sylvester and me to visit my pack. They needed to know the situation and the new arrangement. Alex was nervous at first and wanted to follow me but I convinced him it would be counterproductive, knowing how my kind saw werewolves, it just wouldn't work.
Sylvester's father was waiting for us upon our arrival. According to him, there had been no mutant disturbance since we left and I was glad that Sylvester and I had wiped out the threat.
" We have news that Glover is creating a new army of Apex werewolves." Gamma Beowulf said to me and I nodded.
" He tried to set me up with the hunters by turning a human acquaintance of mine into an Apex werewolf. My mate and I had to pull out his heart." I had let the mate part slip before I knew it.
I saw the look of surprise on Gamma Beowulf's face and the other pack elders.
