Alex asked Mason and Robert to excuse me and Sylvester. He knew I needed to talk to my gamma and he trusted me enough to leave me alone in the room with Sylvester. I knew Alex did not like Sylvester and he never hid it but the amount of consideration he was showing him at the moment touched my heart.
Alex did not need to impress or please me when it came to Sylvester but he did anyway. I could feel he wanted the man to have some closure and I was willing to give that to him.
