Hunters were like mercenaries. They had no loyalty or allegiance. He or she could return to hunt and kill us once the job with the government was over.
The thought of hunters made me remember what had happened to me. If it weren't for Sam I would have been dead by now. To what end? Why would a hunter want to kill me? The issue with the human turned apex werewolf wasn't a good reason enough. If that were the reason then this hunter must be resentful because he or she had not carried out any proper investigation before moving against me.
